These hot water dispensers last only 2-3 years, this is my 4th hot water dispenser. This one works so much better than the less expensive one with a button. Gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t match my other plumbing fixtures.

I have granite countertop with hole which required me to remove the outer plastic thread in order to fit the dispenser in the hole. Due to the thickness of the granite countertop there was not enough thread exposed to reinstall the outer plastic thread. I thus had to improvise to hold the dispenser in place. There should be clear information regarding which hot water dispenser system can be mounted on granite countertop.

Put the unit in for my sister, worked out pretty well, she likes it very much.

Just what I was looking for

I had original for about 14 years. this replacement was perfect and easy to install in same place. very happy, efficient product.

The heater element dies every couple of years. I'm on my third unit.

Not an easy DIY had to have plumber install.

This insikerator is terrible. It is low quality and a high price. Both hot and cold water dispenser started to leak after about 1-year in use.

Best improvement we have made to the kitchen ever!!! Have and would recommend this to anyone.

This is my 2nd Insta Hot and Cold water dispenser. We had one in our old house and now I've had one installed in current house. I love having an Insta Hot and with the hot and "cold" dispenser I don't need a separate one just for filtered water. I did have to have a 2nd outlet installed under sink, but that was because of age of house and there only being one outlet which dishwasher was plugged in.

Been using Insinkerator Hot Water for decades. Best thing we ever did to the kitchen.

Love this Instahot water dispenser. We had one installed in our previous house, and it was one of the first things we added to our new location. I use it for many things and can't imagine being without one.

Had it installed and it leaked a over my newly remodeled kitchen. Took it back and was replaced. So far no issues with replacement.

The InSinkErator we had installed replaced one that was the same model which was installed 13 years ago. We love these things and use them every day to make a cup of tea, hot chocolate, or some cups of noodle soup. I'd never have another kitchen without one.

This is my second hot water dispenser. I drink hot tea and love the instant hot water. I also use it cooking or for soaking pots and pans.

We are completely satisfied with the Instant Hot Water Dispenser, as we have been with other InSinkErator products throughout the years.

I love this product. I am a daily tea drinker and this Instant Hot/Cold Water Dispenser is perfect for me. No need to boil water on the stove. And perfect for cooking and baking when a small amount of boiled or cold water is needed.

The garbage disposal had a sink stopper. Couldn't find one in the stores for the old one. It disposes really fast. It disposes each time I use the switch. The old one was rusty and wouldn't turn on. It hummed and didn't do anything. This one doesn't leak on sink floor when I use it.

The installation of the InSinkErator was simple - it pretty much fit into the space of the former water heater. Removing the old one and installing the InSinkErator was completed in about 1.5 hours.

Very disappointed with the outflow faucet. I paid a much higher priced for the nickel finished faucet. It does not swivel when you are trying to fill an odd size bottle and the cold water handle can not be left in the open position when filling large bottles or bowls. These seen like minor issues, but they are a nuisance every time you try to fill a container. I had the older faucet design on a previous unit that had these features. I am not sure why the manufacture decided to remove these and charge more. Otherwise, the hot water component of the unit is fine.
