This product worked as advertised. I used it under water to seal around my pool steps and it was easy to mold into place. Only product I am comfortable with now for pool repairs.

JB Weld WaterWeld epoxy putty did not work to fix a drip leak on a PVC pipe joint. The epoxy putty did not harden after over 24 hours and kept leaking even with the water supply tuned off from water remaining in the pipes, even though the package claims it sets hard in 1 hour and even under water. I even purchased a second package from another store and it also did not work. How do I get a refund for a defective product? Why cant I rate it at zero stars?

Useless ! Waste of time and Money

Terrible product! Does not adhere or seal as advertised on the package. After preparing a crack on a 1/2 inch valve, the product did not seal the small crack on the bottom. Residual water under no pressure leaked through the application. Re-applying the epoxy putty to the dry product still did not seal anything. Takes longer than stated to set up, and has no expiration date to ensure it was not expired. Maybe their steel weld product is better. Waste of money and my efforts! Never again, JB Weld!

I have worked a long time to seal a hose for a shampoo extension on a clawfoot tub. So angry and disappointed with this product. It looked ugly on the diy shower handle but it seemed to work . Now first tine filling tub with HOT water…It practically melted off connection with obvious leak back…big mess in fact. If I could rate this MINUS FIVE I would. Does not work except (maybe) for cold water projects.

Water Weld was easy to mix and apply - glad Home Depot employees pointed it out to me!

Used on a split on my copper pipe, after about 2 weeks the leak was coming from out of the epoxy and continued to leak.

I had a small pin hole leak on the metal piping of my pool pump whenever it was at full blast. I was able to use this to mend the hole and so far, no leak! This saved me from a much bigger and costlier repair.

Works great if area is almost dry.

Did Not work. I use other JB products and they are great. this never harded. pick some off the floor and it was still soft days latter.
