Someone needs to replace this window ... it was installed yesterday and I went to clean it today and this Perrault purple will not wash off... it’s horrible

Exactly what I wanted

I ordered this window online and picked it up at the store. It was in good condition and packaged in an easy to handle manner when I picked it up.I used the window to replace a mobile home window and it is a big improvement.

Nice window. I lived 2.5 hours from the Home Depot and was disappointed it didn't arrive shipped in a box to protect it during transport like windows I had bought elsewhere. Otherwise good products.

window seal needs some re working at latch cold temps out side cause moisture to form in side on glass. double pane with E gas should not do this but for 180 dollars what would you expect other wise it is a great window.

These are great windows. I used them for a old storage room that needed an upgrade. They are very Easy to work with being my first time replacing windows. They are very smooth and have a really nice tint to the window. Good price for what I used them for.

First off, I must say that both Home Depot and UPS have always done a first-rate job servicing my orders over three years' time. I use the process often, sometimes for my own home and other times for clients' orders. I have literally staked my reputation in the home-improvement field in a very small town where I am only known by reputation, on both this retailer and this shipper, and prior to this order took it as a given that everything would go fine. I assured my clients the same in all good faith. Until now. This window was the largest actual item I had ever ordered using the free shipping service, but all my prior orders led me to believe that the packing and handling would be done satisfactorily. When I received this window it was packed in a crate made of 2x4s and 3/8" plywood, which was OK; then when I opened it to inspect it there was no actual broken glass, but I also observed that there were no additional packing materials to keep the unit from shifting inside the crate. The operative panel was in the open position as well, but again, after so many flawless orders and deliveries via both HD and UPS, the lack of broken glass assured me the unit was intact. Then I got it installed. Right in front of an elderly gentleman who likes to keep me company and lend a hand while I work on his home. There was no denying that both locks had been broken and could not stay locked, and that the design of them was so poor they were destined for failure even if they had arrived intact. After centuries of plain old turtle-locks keeping folks' windows closed, whose genius plan was it to reinvent the wheel with this ridiculous idea anyway? Plus, the slide mechanisms concealed on the ends of the lower panel were mis-aligned, one of the retainer clips had come loose, and the panel had a half inch of slop keeping it from staying in a firm position while open, and I was unable to remove the panel and try to fix it at all because I was afraid I would break it. I was able to fix both issues using my own ingenuity and some used parts I had saved from other projects, but I told the clients that after nearly forty years of installing windows, I had never had to re-engineer a brand-new one in the field. This was ridiculous. Not only that, but even the sash pieces themselves around each thermopane panel were not installed straight by the manufacturer. This is arguably a little too wide a window to use the single-hung design, but this was the job they took on by making it available, and whoever built this unit just put poor workmanship into it. I've long believed in vinyl windows as a lower-cost alternative for the client, and never before saw this kind of amateurish sloppiness in the way they had been made. I'm still a loyal HD shopper and still appreciate the free shipping program enormously, but this time pretty much everyone in the chain (manufacturer, their freight outfit, wholesaler, retailer and UPS) let me and my clients down. I told them, either let me fix it here and now and call it a lesson learned, or we can go trying to figure out whom of five parties is mostly to blame, then wait a month or more to have you folks a new window for this hole in your wall. They told me just to fix it, and stood by me. It was the whole chain of participants who let us both down this time, and thankfully they took my side and we just avoided going through the whole process of seeking redress on a plain old botched order start to finish. But we could have, we certainly had it coming.

Purchased two windows, one the frame was damaged & the second the glass was broken on the lower sash. I like the windows if they’d arrive un-damaged, however like the reviews that I read, damaged windows seem to be a way of life. Installed these over thanksgiving weekend, and couldn’t just leave it

Got these windows as replacements for old garage windows. Had to do a little reconfigure to make them work inside the old window box, just removed the nail-in exterior frame and popped them inside the old window. Had a good handyman figure it out. Came faster than expected though one was cracked

The window latches were of the older lever style and were installed misaligned.

The window did not fit the opening as I originally expected. I had to cut off the flange in order to get it to fit, add insulation and custom make the trim work. However, in the end it did fit nicely. Now we'll see if it keeps out the cold air this coming winter as advertised.
