There is a defect in the very front edge of the cast iron sink. Looks like a chip but is not a chip. Just baked in that way. The sink is already set in place and my contractor is actually finishing up today with caulking around the outer rim of the sink . He will do his best to hide the defect with the caulk. Cannot understand how your quality control could pass this product. I already alerted home depot of this but am going to try an work around this defect. I have saved the box just in case I need to return this sink.

Beautiful sink! The shiny black sink looks great in our kitchen. At the suggestion of the installing plumber, we polished the sink with car wax before using it, and as a result, it resists water spots. Very happy with it!

After installation, this kitchen sink appears to be the highlight of the counter area. After some very hard scrubbing to remove some sort of a surface scum, the sink is a highly attractive article, and I aim extremely pleased with it. We did encounter some difficulty in assembling the baskets into the sink, and this required the removal and replacement twice on one side and three times to get a total seal on the disposer side. When the sink is clean and dry it actually appears to sparkle and draws ones attention to it. I have now had this sink for a couple months and I had a Granite composite sink which was nearly impossible to get clean and required polish frequently in order to present a pleasing appearance.

The enamel on this sink was damaged upon delivery, otherwise it is a beautiful product. I ended up going with a Kohler stainless steel sink, and I'm very happy with it.

Finally had my new Kohler sink installed last Sunday. I'm absolutely thrilled with it! It fits perfectly into my counter top, and it's great to have the drains set nearer the back of the bowls so there is better stability when I place dishes in to wash. The sink surround profile is slimmer than on my old cast iron sink, which has resulted in the bowls being wider--a great plus when washing large lobster pots. Locating the spray nozzle further to the right has eliminated the many "baths" I've taken when it was previously right next to the cold water faucet. I couldn't be happier with my new cast iron sink. Thanks Home Depot, for providing a great product!

White has always been one of my favorite colors, it is elegant, stylish and looks clean while matching any decor. This Kohler Cast Iron Sink is true white, well-made, high quality and has deep basins. The 9 inch basins provide plenty of room to wash dishes and prepare dinner. A top mount sink drops in the existing cut-out. Measure not only the outer dimensions but the inner dimensions under the sink. Check to make sure you have sufficient room under the sink and the plumbing lines up. If plumbing adjustments need to be made, you will be ready. This high quality sink is very heavy taking two people to lift and install. Due to the weight of the sink, you can add support under the counters edge. Clean with soap and water, no abrasive pads, it might scratch the surface. I use one of those rubber mats which helps protect the finish. Fabulous Upgrade!

The sink is just perfect. However it caused problems for the handyman installing it. Required two men to lift it and extra supports had to be put in the cabinet.

Got this cast iron sink to replace an old stainless steel sink in our kitchen. It made a world of difference in the appearance of our kitchen. The first thing you will notice about this sink is how heavy it is. The cast iron is thick and well made. The white finish looks great. One word of advice is go ahead and get the Kohler strainers to install with this sink. The other brands will not fit very well and you will have leaks. I am so glad I got this sink and you won't go wrong if you do the same.

We have had this sink for 4 years and it looks horrible. I talked to Kohler about the warranty and they only cover burns, if it cracks underneath and chips. I have used their cleaner since I got it and it looks horrible. I've tried the wine cork and it did nothing to make it look better. Don't buy this
