Easy to use and works great. Easy to install. I had one I. Europe 40 years ago and always wanted one. I did a full Reno and finally have it. I had another one they was square on back and had to get this one. The othe was hard to install. This one I was able to install alone and I’m in My 60’s

I still do not have the remote control put together! The instructions are non-existent! Nothing on YouTube. I got all the rest put in by myself. I'm pretty proud of that as I'm over 60 and female. I still have contortion capabilities and by feet being female I meant I know nothing whatsoever about plumbing. It works great! It's so nice to have a warm toilet seat! I would definitely recommend it I would definitely recommend having someone help you with the remote however it is not necessary as there is a keypad on the side as well.

We bought our first bidet seat a month or so ago and we have been very pleased with how it has worked out. My husband is handy and installed it for us. The seat itself is easy to install but note you need an outlet in your water closet which can be as easy to install by calling an electrician. The functions are easy to understand and adjust once you have used it a couple of times. We like that there are two preset options l, one for each of us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m new to the bidet world, not having any prior experience with bidets. We hired a local plumber to replace our 30-year old contractors toilet that came with the house with a Koehler dual flush Wellworth elongated toilet and C3-230 matching bidet seat. Health issues having increased the frequency of my bathroom visits, I was hoping this would alleviate some of the discomfort I was experiencing. It’s a strange feeling when you first try the bidet, but you soon get used to it. It works flawlessly and has eliminated the problems I was encountering. I still use toilet paper, but a lot less. I don’t know how one goes paperless. The only problem we’ve had is regarding the blue nightlight. I like it. My wife has trouble sleeping with it on if we leave the bathroom door open. This is especially a problem when the LED light is flashing indicating the UV light is cleaning the wands. If I could decrease the LED’s light intensity and program the wand cleaning time to avoid this nighttime problem, it would be perfect.

In 2016 we remodeled our downstairs bathroom and installed this bidet. We absolutely love it and so do all of our guests. In fact, five friends stayed with us that year and whenever they use the bathroom, they would walk downstairs to use the one with the bidet. We just finished remodeling the two upstairs bathrooms and put this seat in all of them.

AMAZING! I have no idea why anyone would spend more for a bidet than what this thing has to offer. Comes with everything you need and the touch screen is a nice feature. Note that the actual seat though doesn't have black buttons as shown on this photo. It's actually white.

Overall I'm happy with this thing. The whole family loves it and I am a hero to my wife. Installation was very easy and it is working just as I'd hoped. Only issues I have with the unit are: 1) The night-light is very bright. Not a big deal, but it is a bit of overkill. I read a review on Amazon about how this thing does some sort of cleaning cycle at night, and it blinks on and off. The guy was pretty upset as it made his bedroom like a disco in the middle of the night. I haven't seen that behavior at all so maybe that's been resolved. Supposedly it was a cleaning cycle of the wand. 2) Conversely, the display on the remote control is a little dim and I can't see the controls very well during the day. Again, not a big deal since there's a nearly identical set of controls right next to your right butt cheek that are easy to see.

Over the past few years, we had added a bidet seat to two of our bathrooms. This is our first Kohler made bidet seat, and boy is this an upgrade. On our other bidets, it was not uncommon for the warm water to run out during use, leaving you, shall we say 'shocked'. The Kohler employs a tankless water heater, for a constant and non ending supply of perfectly warmed water. We have never had this run out of warm water, not for want of trying. This is very important when choosing a bidet seat. I cannot stress this enough. The toilet has a 'night light' that illuminates the bowl in the dark, perfect for preventing children from 'missing' the bowl in the dark. The seat has an occupancy sensor, basically it knows if your bum in on there, and prevent operation when unoccupied. This is important if you have a cat that likes to jump up on the seat, or children that enjoy pushing buttons. As you sit down, a odor removing fan starts automatically. Whilst not being crass, this works very well, and completely eliminated any obnoxious bathroom smells. The seat itself is heated (perfect for cold winter nights), and it also soft closes, which means you are not going to wake someone up if you accidentally drop the seat closed in the middle of the night. The touchscreen remote, whilst very futuristic looking, is simple to use. Two user programmable settings can be stored in the remote, and adjustments are as simple as tapping the icon on the screen. You can also use the controls on the side of the seat if you prefer. The remote is magnetically secured to its cradle, where it also receives a charge from the batteries in the cradle. You can pick both oscillating or pulsating spray (or both together), water pressure, seat temperature, and air drying temperature. Everything is provided for quick and simply installation to any elongated toilet. The plumbing is accomplished using an adaptor that taps in to the existing feed to your toilets water tank (no soldering, or plumbing skills required), and a power plug that needs a GFCI power outlet. Who would have thought that going to the bathroom could be this much fun!

This is an unbelievable invention. Who would have known that you could change your ordinary toilet into a luxury household item. Installation could take anywhere from 15-20 minutes depending on skill level. All aspects of this bidet is customization. Pressure, heat, rhythm of the pulse. The touch screen is very easy to use. Instructions are great and easy. The whole new "process" take a little time to warm up to. But all in all and great product and a must have if you can afford it. The night light is a under rated feature.

The Kohler C3 230 Bidet Toilet Seat is pretty amazing. It's also pretty easy to install but for me required a bit more work. This seat is made for elongated toilets and the one I had was round. I replaced my toilet with a new Kohler elongated toilet and also installed an electrical outlet next to the toilet. Luckily I have a GFCI protected outlet on the opposite wall (next to the sink) which I tapped into to run the new outlet. Connecting the water line, mounting the seat, and mounting the remote took me 20 minutes at best. This seat doesn't just clean front and rear, there are tons of options you can select. There are six heat levels for the seat, the water, and the dryer. There are also six levels of water pressure and the extension of the wand. There is an oscillate and pulsate setting you can set if you like. Moments after you sit down the deodorizer kicks on along with the display on the remote control. The deodorizer works so well we hardly have a need to turn on our bathroom ventilation fan anymore. There are also two user preset buttons which allow you to enjoy all the settings you like with just the press of a button. I almost forgot about the night light. It's pretty cool but also useful for those late night trips to the bathroom where you don't want to disturb anyone by turning on bright lights. I can't really think of any cons but there are a couple of this to be aware of. First because of all the hardware this seat houses, the actual opening is a little smaller than regular toilet seats. Second, if you want to be totally dry, you are going need to sit with the dry on for a short while. We were apprehensive at first but my wife and I have used the Kohler C3 230 for about two weeks now and love it. Bidets are slowly catching on in the U.S. but have been common in other developed countries for decades. This bidet seat is another top of the line product from Kohler which I highly recommend.

The toilet seat was very easy to install. It took only about 10 minutes at the most. After installing, you cover the seat in plastic wrap and press down on it to test it (you don't want water shooting into your face). Functions: It has a deodorizer fan that comes on when you sit down. You can adjust water temperature, pressure, pulse, and oscillation. You can also adjust air temperature and speed for the fan. It has an automatic led nightlight. Pros: Works great and cleans well. Helps prevent irritation from over-wiping. Fun conversation piece. Cons: It takes a while for the dryer to dry you. Front and back nozzle adjustment is not quite different. Also, due to the price, it's not for everyone.

I really wanted to love this item. It took me a long time to settle on this particular bidet toilet seat, particularly because I was sure it would fit my toilet as it's also a new Kohler toilet. However it's loud and the nightlight is very bright and wakes me up too much whenever I get up to use the toilet at nights. The noise is way too loud. It sounds like it's about to take off. I do like the remote feature.

Install was easy and works great. Worth the price. Only issue is you can’t sit on it when closed

The connection from the water line to the toilet seat had plastic threads. These plastic threads leak then when tighten they break. I tried 3 toilets and paid for professional installtion. They were unable to install properly. I went with a toto and it works a lot better. Wanted to like the kohler.

The toilet seat was supposed to warm up but never did.

Everything works well, but the seat itself is not strong enough and it does not stay in place, rather it slides away.

Love the bidet feature but the seat lid is flimsy and becomes disengaged on one side when you lean back on it.

We purchased this second bidet for our condo since we have much enjoyed the one we have at our lake house. Really a great product!

We purchase two seats for a project with one breaking at the water connection during install. No parts are made to fix this connection and was told by Kohler to just order a new seat. This was disappointing that the whole seat with one faulty part/bad design would be unusable. Buyer beware of the water connection to the seat. NO parts to fix and will need to buy a new seat once it breaks.

I need to return all 3 bidet seats. The seat overheats, the fan is weak, these Kohler seats do not fit the Kohler toilets. Very expensive purchase, very disappointed.

Everything functions great. I didn’t realize that it doesn’t auto open and close. That was disappointing. I don’t like the way it looks, im trying to get used to it.

Excellent bidet seat. This was purchased to replace one that quit working after only 2 years, for the price I would think it should have lasted longer but it works so well I purchased another. Hopefully this one lasts longer

Sooooo, like the seat well enough & the only reason for the low rating is customer service… STILL haven’t heard from them! The seat is really scuffed up & wanted to hear from someone about how to deal with it….love the heated seat!

Had to replace a Coco bidet that we’ve had for years due to a cracked corner on the seat. Thought that Kohler might be a higher quality product. So disappointed. It’s cheesy, expensive, heated seats does not stay on (must manually turn it on which defeats my purpose in wanting one, the ability to plant my butt on an already heated toilet seat in the middle of the night). The water spray is a mere dribble and certainly not going to do a good job cleansing. One of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made and I’m trying to get a response on a Kohler for a return.
