Hi randaddio, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear your soap dispenser plunger is not returning to its position after depressing the head to dispense soap. We suggest lifting up on the soap dispenser head to remove the head and straw. You can then soak the straw/pump in warm water to remove any soap scum.
