The sink is very sturdy and looks good. But I wish Kohler's quality control was better. Two corners were bent inward and prevented the sink to be flat on the counter. I expected better from Kohler.

Hi Lucy, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear that your Staccato sink is easily scratching. Most stainless steel products will scratch from everyday use. These scratches, however, will blend over time and create a unique finish. To blend the scratches, we recommend applying a stainless steel cleaner/polish (such as Bar Keeper's Friend) with a nonabrasive cloth or sponge, working with, not across, the grain. We do not recommend the use of steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads. Use only non-scratch cleaning pads. We recommend cleaning stainless steel at least once a week. Allowing water to evaporate on metal will form water deposits. To avoid this and keep your product looking beautiful, it is important to wipe the sink clean with a soft cloth after each use. The Kohler sink is awesome, But I would expect nothing less from Kohler. I ordered online thru HD, and it came to the store early and in great packing shape. I opened the Open box and sink was covered with a heavy film of plastic for added protection,I liked that. Installation was a breeze with no hiccup's. Being in construction and remodeling for 40+ yrs Iv'e installed many kitchen sinks. Even so for the layman this is spelled out with good directions that are easy to understand. Would definitely recommend and would recommend ordering thru HD online service, very convenient.

The sink is beautiful. Sturdy and quiet. Finish is great. Only complaint is that the right side lip that sits on the counter was bent and didn’t sit flush on the countertop. My handyman was able to straighten it, but if he had not been able to that would have been a huge problem.

Sink came with no hardware to secure it. Kohler said they would send the hardware separately to arrive in 3-5 days. This was a problem because sink was to be installed by Home Depot the next day The parts were too late. We had to buy another sink to match hole cut in our new counter top.

Looks great and well built. Easy to install. Lots of accessories you can order! However, the first sink we ordered that had a bent corner that was not noticeable until it was dry fitted. It was unusable and was returned. (Return process was easy) Ordered a second. It was not bent but had several dings and dents. Looks like poor Mfg quality control. Home Depot stands behind the products they carry and made things right.

Love the sink depths; easy install EXCEPT that right side was not level & had a bend in it preventing proper install. Our house was already on the market so couldn’t wait for exchange, & my husband was able to adjust it w/o damaging sink. Otherwise, we would've exchanged it to be on the safe side

Great looking sink. Center drains make plumbing under the sink easy. This sink is strong, made of 18 gauge stainless steel. It is also quiet because of the acoustic padding. My wife loves it. Installation was easy. Some other reviews stated that the clips to hold the sink down fell off or were hard to get to. The clips I received were very well designed. I installed them while the sink was still outside of the counter. They did NOT fall off. Once the sink was in place the clips were easily turned and tightened up with a deep well socket. The Kohler duostrainer drains in vibrant stainless goes very well with the sink. Thank you Kohler!

Good quality, solid. Nice finish. My husband would opt for an undivided sink because the 2 sides are a bit small for maneuverability. Definitely a step up from the 1/4-3/4 arrangement we had before. (The smaller side was useless.) The depth is perfect.

My only problem with the sink install was getting the hold down bracket installed on the under sink rim. The bent under rim is not straight enough to slide brackets from the corners to the center locations. Was easier to place them at locations and tap them in place with plastic tip hammer. A deepwell 1/4" drive socket set is best to secure brackets to the counter.
Overall, completed project is very nice and functional.

I have purchased this sink twice now, both for kitchen remodels. It is very nice looking, while still being functional. Having both sides being deep & the same size is what makes this sink easy to use. Can’t be beat this beauty for the price.

Stainless steel is a joke. I don't know what would replace it, but I don't like it.
Scratches appear like magic. A scratched up sink is not something to be proud of.
