Simple, clear instructions. The only questionable thing is how you know when it's tight enough and not "over-tightened." When you have it level in both directions and it's not leaking, that's tight enough. I went back a couple of times and tightened mine a little more to stop minor leaking and being careful not to break the tank by over-tightening.

Terrible
I have a Kohler Classic toilet. This gasket does not sit flush like in the instructional video. I called Kohler and verified this is the right part. Poorly designed. Going to replace the toilet with American Standard, which has worked flawlessly in my other bathrooms for over 20 years. It deserves zero stars.
Bye-bye, Kohler, never again...

Poor Design
Since you are unable to tightened from the inside of the toilet, you have to crawl behind and the tools do not tighten because the tank is in the way. A better design would be wing nuts so it can be hand tightened.

Perfect repair kit to fix a Kohler toilet that is leaking from the tank bolts or tank-to-bowl connection. The bolts have rubber/plastic coated heads/necks which may help slow deterioration from hard water or chemical bowl cleaners. All required parts are included.

Had trouble using a generic donut shaped foam gasket that...
Had trouble using a generic donut shaped foam gasket that comes with toilet rebuild kits. Using this original manufacturers gasket was completely frustration free. I will always use it in the future in my Koehler toilets.
