[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this 48 inch refrigerator last month and just love it. It is very easy to clean inside and out. Water filter is very easy to replace. The only problem we have had is that the crushed ice freezes in the outlet now and then and to get back to the ice cubes you have to lift the ice compartment out and clear the frozen ice. Very quite unit.

I bought this 6 months ago to replace a similar model KitchenAid when we built our house. We were very happy with the way the previous refrigerator functioned and lasted we decided to buy the updated model. To date we could not be happier. Super quiet. Well laid out. Super product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had it for about2 1/2 months now and I AM FINDING THE ICE MAKER OFTEN LEAVE ICE CUBES on the top sh and the fall out when we open freezer door. Have tried turning ice maker off but not much help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator replaced a Viking side by side. The KitchenAid quietly sits in its place and runs. It lacks many of the features of my old Viking. For example, the KitchenAid does not shut down and melt my entire freezer. Nor does it dump water on the floor. And my house is so quiet without a noisy compressor. Ok, snarks at Viking aside, I am sooooo happy that I bought the KitchenAid. It is quiet, roomy, and just perfect. The ice and water dispenser is well designed. The shelves are easy to adjust and clean. And the big drawers are fantastic. And my local dealer in Temecula was outstanding.

The quality is fine & it looks very nice but the icemaker is very loud both filling and dropping. It looks nice with all the matching KitchenAid appilances done at the same time.

Plenty space in the fridge side, water and ice do take up some space in the freezer just be aware of that. The PrintShield stainless is doing it's job. Motor is very very, great for open plan kitchens.

Worth the money ,it has all the feature you would expect from a high end fridge .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed about a month ago. Working well. Like the storage options in most cases. The enclosed section in the door where butter and other items that one wishes to keep from absorbing smells from items in the refrigeration only fits at the top. My wife is short and needs to reach into that unit. It is too high. Had to place it lower where it does not fit well. Temperature varies about 4-8 degrees in the various areas inside the refrigerator. For example, the door area is about 6 degrees warmer than the back of the frog. The freezer temperatures are much more stable and closer to the set mark. The temperature displays in the refrigerator are not the actual temperatures in the freezer and the refrigerator but desired temperature set points. The refrigerator set point only goes down to 34 degrees F. Wish it could be set at 32 or 33. The internal refrigerator temperatures are usually 2-8 degrees above the set point temperatures. Most other attributes in the unit are excellent including the shelving, the size, and the water and ice dispensing units. Like them a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st 10k fridge arrived non-working. After another 8 days (without a working fridge), a new one arrived. This one had a crease in the stainless steel and the Freezer is leaking water out onto my wood floor. I had to turn the whole unit off until service can come investigate. So I am getting my new (2nd one) fridge serviced within a few days of delivery. I feel like I am buying a refurbished unit... And Whirlpool/Kitchen-Aid will not do anything for me.... So sad...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought all new appliances and I am doing reviews on all I will say that the fridge is probably the best out of all my appliances it looks pretty it cleans up easy you would think it was much more bigger on the inside but it’s still nice. The only problem is it always drips water. KitchenAid already sent someone out to fix it but it still continuously drips.

Looks great as all Kitchen aid appliances do and matches my wall oven perfectly. Only downside so far is it’s pretty slow to make ice and I’m not sure it will keep up with my family of 5 once summer comes. Happy with purchase!

Roomy, especially the freezer, and the lighting is terrific—makes everything visible, even in a crowded frig. Love being able to see in through the top of the top crisper drawer, too. Door shelves are roomier than the look. Very happy with this frig so far!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We’ve had our fridge for 3 months. Great in many aspects but the ice and water have an off/plastic/medicinal taste. We’ve changed the foyer and run ample water through it. Only suggestion is to “use more water faster” to avoid the taste. You would think that a fridge of this quality would have parts around the water that didn’t leave a taste.

This fridge is quite adequate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy to remodel my kitchen- that when I designed it - I focused entirely on building the kitchen around a built in fridge. I came to choose this particular model by Kitchenaid. It was beautiful, large, sleek - everything I wanted. I had the appliance store deliver, install, and set it up. I followed all instructions for the water filter break in process. After dumping all the water out that was recommended, I noticed the water did not taste good. I shrugged it off thinking it was just a new appliance. After replacing practically a brand new water filter, and doing the same thing the water still taste terrible!! My wife is furious. My kids wont drink the water or use the ice from the machine. The water from my original 1700 LG fridge was completely fine. I don't know whats wrong. I contacted KitchenAid and they sent me a replacement filter but this has not resolved my problem. I will need to contact the company again to find out what is wrong. Because right now we are drinking from our 5 year old brita filter that we purchased from costco along with bottled water. The water taste like chemicals / metal / contaminated. I do not recommend buying this fridge, especially with the 10,000 price tag. I hope someone high up from Kitchenaid reads this honest review and contacts me. This NEEDS to be corrected or unit needs to be replaced.

Absolutely love the amount of space and how everything is laid out. I love the ice and water dispenser as we can easily fill large water bottles and pitchers. Plus, It displays the amount of water being dispensed in ounces or cups, which is a nice feature. Nice lighting inside. Sleek look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an older model of this refrigerator in our home in Woodstock, Georgia, before moving permanently to our beach house and my husband would not even consider any other refrigerator when we were preparing to renovate our kitchen at our beach house. One feature we wish was included though is an indication of the actual temperature in the refrigerator and freezer rather than just the temperature you set and hope to achieve. It's easy to clean, provides room for most anything and everything you'd want to refrigerate or freeze and doesn't show fingerprints the way our previous refrigerator did on the stainless steel. We are enjoying this refrigerator!
