Brought this expecting to be a quality blender as made by kitchenAid but am so disappointed with the mini chopper works great when empty but as soon as you put even the smallest piece of food in it sound dreadful and feels like it will break so shall not be using , the blender attachment is ok just a bit fiddle to lock into place but getting the hang of it now but very hard to clean as food and water seem to enter under the black seal so overall very disappointed

best cordless hand blender on the market. none even come clos. The person that made the decision to discontinue this product should be fired. Why would they stop making this item, it was amazing. What a bad decision

I was super excited about this mixer because we live in a small apartment and I wanted to save space. However, it has been nothing but dissapointments: 1. The anti slip rings (on the blender and food processor bases) are pushed so far into their grooves that they don't touch the surface at all. this means this groove was manufactured too deep. It has been useless since we took it out of the box. 2. On our first wash, we made the mistake of immersing the various parts to wash them. Since then each part - the food processor lid, and the blender extensions, etc. have had water trapped in them - you can hear it sloshing. 3. The food processor wears plastic into whatever you're cutting. The blades are attached to a female part which sits on a male part which is attached to the processor base. It is on a little raised (I think its supposed to be recessed) area. When blending, the blade "wand" rubs on this raised plastic area and little slivers of plastic end up in your food. 4. The food processor is driven by two plastic bits that interconnect - one on the lid and one on the aforementioned wand. These often slip and make a horrible sound like you're breaking the mixer. It's very stressful. 5. the whisk attachment is a tension attachment - like an expansion sleeve - however it's incredibly weak. If you're only ever whisking egg whites it's fine. But the second you whisk anything else, the whisk always falls out of its attachment. 6. The blender itself isn't able to process things very finely. If you add ice to your smoothie you will notice you are drinking slush-cone-size ice chunks in your drink. That's not the end of the world, but I thought I would mention it. The only thing this blender does well is the immersion blending part. If that's what you're after, then its a good buy.

The plastic piece on my blending arm broke and will no longer turn the interchangeable blades. I can still use the chopper and whisk, but why bother? Until this piece broke, the blender worked decently well. I needed a blender and I can't even find a replacement part for this expensive hand blender. Cheaply made, so get something cheaper. I know I will.

I’ve been looking for the replacement for some attachments of this product, but it is not available. Not the whisking one, not the blending arm! Where can I get it??

Dependable I love my hand blender. This is my first KA countertop Kitchen tool. I haven't used all the blades but it is powerful, easy to use . The attachments are easy to switch off/on. I have no complaints whatsoever. I love the storage case. Very practical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look and convenient storage case. However, right out of the box the speed dial is extremely hard to turn. I'm young and strong and need to use a rubber grip and full strength to turn it. I can't imagine having dirty cooking hands or arthritis and being able to operate this device. I feel that mine might be flawed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago to replace an older model that had lived its life. I have used it a few times. It does what it is supposed but the material compared to the older version is flimsy plastic on the handle instead of metal additionally the base that attaches the motor to the chopper unit fills up with water when washed and doesn’t drain properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this I could wait to use it. It’s like I got a new toy. I like the packaging, it was hard to get the top of one of the pieces. Overall I am happy with the product, the only downfall for me is that I have to hold the power button to keep it going, I have carpal tunnel. But I also have the stand up mixer so for long mixing products I can use that. My husband said it’s a good safety feature, just like they have on some of the tools so if it is drop it will turn off right away. Which is good the kids do like to help me bake. I am a big fan of kitchen aid item, they are for the most part easy to use, very, very durable. I know that because my four year old helps me bake and he is not easy with the appliances. I watch the a lot of cooking shows and I always see them using them.

Next one that i buy from Kitchenaid it will be the cordless one. i have all Kitchenaid appliance and i love them. The range the microwave all two thumbs up. Great job kitchenaid

It works great we use it for all types of things from puréeing soups to making smoothies. I have had other brands in the past and this is by far the best one I have ever owned. It tackles everything with ease. I highly recommend getting one.
