Good for determining temperature no further than a few feet from the unit; need to take multiple readings when distance is greater than a few feet — and then guesstimate an average . . .

Great product from Klein. I have used it a few times for work. It's very accurate.

Great tool for general use. Like the fact that you can change emissivity, which makes it very useful for measuring the temperature of various materials. Have used it several time on automotive parts and it works great.

I thought it was simply point and it would read surface temperatures accurately, but every different material needs a different setting, and those are just estimates. Hence, no accurate measurements that I can trust.

Incredibly inaccurate. Unusable. Even when you make adjustments for material type.

Good temp readings F or C on a single or dual laser. Have them both in my toolbox for verification of temp reading accuracy.

Bought this unit as a requirement for COVID-19 Re-opening. It is not accurate for human temp

It provides additional peace of mind when when welding around exposed framing help find a couple of hot spots needing wetting down

I’ve owned about 10 of these thermometers in my life and this one seems to be pretty good quality I don’t regret the price

Very well build. It’s sturdy and accurate /- 1 degree. I have tested this. The illuminated read works well in dim light.
