After watching a few YouTube videos, the Installation was easier than anticipated. A perfect fit for internal components, strike plate, dead bolt. Only area that was not exact was the outside door handle which meant using touch up paint for areas that were exposed. I had a 20 year old existing Kwikset handle so it is understandable that new model was slightly different

Purchased this product to replace the same style older handle. Disappointed that the drill point for the lower anchor point was shortened by an inch requiring a new drill point in my steel door. Standardize this!

The Dakota Handleset dimension between the center of the handle borehole and the bottom screw hole is 8-13/32". The Kwikset Prescott, Prague, Camino, Austin, Montara, San Clemente, and Vancouver Handlests have a dimension between the center of the handle borehole and the bottom screw hole that is adjustable between 8-13/32 and 9-11/16”.

Nice finish and easy install, to boot. My only concern is with the deadbolt actuator, it seems flimsy and has a lot of wiggle to engage/disengage.

The item was an easy install. It was a replacement and not an original install, so holes had already been cut, making the install easy.
