Overall the deadbolt has worked to our expectations and we are happy with Home Depot, service and it has met our expectations. Home Depot has been our company for quite a few years and their service has been excellent.

Great lock and able to rekey myself.

I had an old deadbolt fall apart so I bought this to replace deadbolt, but also so I wouldn't need have a different key. This was a very easy install and was only an extra few minutes to learn how to adjust the lock to fit my old key and it worked flawlessly the first time! Very impressed with the quality and the finish looks quite nice.

bought two online for delivery, un-open box (they seal the inner box, as it was hard to open) good experience, easy installation bought another two online for pickup at store, both time the lock was opened as the seal was broken already, and both time the key was not compatible with the lock, need to return them

First one threads were roughed up and returned. Second one holes I’m plate to small for bolts. Had to be careful but was able to bore larger without messing up sides. Little room for error.

Appears to be durable. It has to undergo 10,000 insertions without breaking for 4 years. I hope it last.

The product seemed well made. I did have a problem installing the bolt in the door as the Kwikset bolt was thicker than the bolt it was replacing. That was not too much trouble though. The biggest problem I had was that the mounting plate was missing from the box. I did mention to the clerk when she handed it to me that the box appeared to have been opened before. She said that wouldn’t matter though because I had 90 days to return it. And there is a paper inside the box saying not to return it to the store. Yeah right. So I’m going to leave my door open for the two days it takes to get the replacement part! I uninstalled it and boxed it back up and marked on the box “MISSING PARTS!” Then I drove the almost 25 mile round trip to return it.

They look good but I haven’t installed them yet.
