I bought this LG washer about one month again . It really cleans your clothes but twice already when finished it does not unlock . We have had to run the whole cycle again for it to unlock.

Bought my new front load washer about a month ago so far so good! I love it! so much better than the old one. Love the front load option, the simple dial control and choices of load size, water temperature. clothes come out clean and smelling fresh.

I won't let my husband near it. He wants to use it and I will not let him. The washer talks to me with cute little tunes to let me know it misses me. Gets clothes cleaner than my top load and sheets feel fresher. I'm so happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last month and it is by far the best washer we’ve ever purchased. We’ve owned 5 different investment properties and outfitting them with washer and dryer combos for the last 10 years. LG is one brand that has never let us down.

We purchased about 3 weeks ago. It is working great. The other LG worked for I er 15yrs. Prayerfully this last as long.

called thursday for a damaged washer, (bent tray and also a big scratch down the side which was under the cardboard so i couldnt see it until later that day). they said theyd call saturday to confirm a appointment but its scheduled already that monday someone would be here between 10 and 2. saturday comes they never call, monday morning im waiting and have a bad feeling so i call home depot back and they said they cancelled my appointment friday because the customer servive put the tech request in to home depot instead of lg. yet no one ever called me and told me. so then home depot connects me to lg and after waiting on the line another 10 minutes, i get disconnected i call back to home depot have to explain to a 3rd person whats happening and they connect me to some guy in india at LG. this guy says he has to connect me to the washer department get connected to some woman in india. this entire time its hard to hear anyone from home depot or the lg india reps. but the on hold music is blasting so i dont think its my phone connection. im guessing their headsets they use are garbage. finally the woman in the washer department says there is no LG techs in my area so they put my order through to local service techs to find one in my area to come out. so now i have to wait 24-48 hours for a tech to call me back to make a appointment not only did i take a half day off work when the washer was delivered (which is my responsibility) but now i took off work today in order for this to get repaired and nobody showed up. so i just spent 3 hours on the phone and now am waiting to see whn someone can come out. i have a HUGE 3 month house renovation starting next week and cant afford to keep losing time like this on these hiccups. i read all the bad reviews and took a gamble because every single washer has about 25% bad reviews of the machine and the customer service dept. i was hoping i wouldnt be one of the victims but here we are. the least they could do is offer some sort of compensation for time loss. plus having a scratch on a new $700+ product im not to thrilled about either. im sure the nightmare wont stop here since i still have to wait to see what happens next. also the delivery people are some 3rd party delivery kids who were about 20 yrs old in a bad mood slamming things around in a huge rush. id advise paying more for a washer from some local small business who does everything themselves instead of home depot so when something goes wrong it can be handled easier instead of wasting hours on the phone and over a week of time.

Absolutely an epic front load washer! We couldn’t have asked for more. What I like the best is that it accurately senses the load sizes and times it accordingly. I like the little music tones it plays once it’s done washing. We’ve had it for almost a month Overall extremely happy with this purchase.

After less than a year of use, mold developed under and on the rubber door seal. We paid for a professional to replace it (very expensive). After that, we did regular tub cleans with Tide, running vinegar cycles, always leaving the door open to dry. The mold is back, bad as ever. LG doesn’t care and responded “mold may form inside the door gasket. This is a normal occurrence.” I had an extensive exchange with LG customer support (see screenshots of the conclusion of our conversation below).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the LG front load washer for 3 years. During that time I have had to call for service 2 times. Both for leaking from the detergent loading area. Luckily we purchased a service contract so there was no out of pocket costs but the fact that we have had to have parts replaced twice seems like a serious design flaw. In addition, the front load gasket does not drain completely. This causes the area to grow what seems to be mold. One of our friends just called and said his LG washer just started leaking about 2 years after they purchased. We bought the front load design because it would use less water but at least the LG version is not a good solution. Clothes does come out clean and we are able to use less detergent. For some reason I am unable to add pictures.

Great product, this one is replacement for our old LG that gave us 16 years of hard work...lol.

I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace my original LG washer that we bought 15 years ago. I'm glad we stuck with LG. This washer is much more quiet than the first one and it seems to get the clothes much more dry before going into the dryer. This was an excellent choice.

Already submitted a review but why not another, maybe it will make it more visible. Overall a very good washer with one serious defect. 2 years after purchase -- not even a few months after the warranty expired -- the drain pump failed. Apparently this is a known issue with LG washers. Meanwhile my previous washing machines kept ticking for two or three *decades* without serious issue. So I don't know what defective design LG came up with for this part but it would be nice if they'd fix it. Also the drain hose design is terrible. In case you don't know, there's a small hose behind a panel in the lower left of the front of the machine. If you remove the plug from this hose, it should drain the water from the tub. It does, but *very* slowly, like drip drip drip. If you want the water to come out faster, remove the filter that's to the right of the hose. Put lots of towels down because water will splash everywhere. No idea why the designated part doesn't work this away -- again, shoddy design.

Received my LG WM3400CW washer today and am very pleased with my purchase. My older LG WM0642HW was 4.0 cf and was an excellent machine for the past 16 years until the drum bearing finally started to go. Although the 4.5 cf machine doesn't have as many "bells and whistles" as my previous machine (most of which I never/hardly ever used), I hope to have this washer for another 16 years. The delivery drivers from Temco Logistics arrived early (which is great for me), were quick, polite, efficient and competent, exercising care. I've owned a front load machine for over 45 years and have found them to do the best wash. The machine (like my previous) uses only up to perhaps 12 gallons of water to do a complete wash and rinse. Less water means less detergent, bleach and softener (if you use them). You only need 2-3 tablespoons of detergent. In fact too much detergent is counter productive. I like that this machine is 4.5 cf with simple to use controls and super quiet operation. Unless I am in the laundry room I don't know it running. The high 1300 rpm spin speed leaves cloths dryer so it's less work on the dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my new Washer On Jan. 14th. My children bought me for Christmas. My husband made this suggestion. As I was having trouble getting clothes out of my present machine, which was getting older just like me, it was big one very deep for this old lady. But she had been a good one. He even bought me a grabber but have you ever tried to pick up a wet towel with a grabber. It wasn’t pretty. Got a front loader with pedestals and I love it. I don’t fall in any more when getting my clothes out.

I purchased my new washer in 25-Nov-2023 and noticed a couple small dents on lower right side of machine. The first couple times I used it I noticed a small puddle of water on floor in basement as there was a drilled hole in floor for dryer gas line directly behind washer. When I investigated further i found a small puddle of water at rear of machine. I determined it was coming from the drain filter at the front of the machine. The filter basket wasn’t completely installed all the way in so where the basket wasn’t sealing properly. Since then the machine hasn’t leaked and is working fine.

We've owned this for 2 years. Didn't have many issues until recently it threw a thermister error (te) and wouldn't run. It is out of warranty and LG certified tech wants $350 to look at it. I tore it down myself and found one of the two wires that plug into the termister had torn. Soldered it back together, wire tore again (not the solder!), replaced wire with 12 gauge solid core wire, hopefully it will hold now. I won't buy more LG products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has all the features and cycles that I'm likely to use, except for the "Drain and Spin" cycle which I used once or twice in the 20 years I had my previous LG washer. The washer has same direct drive motor and warranty as the other, more expensive models with cycles and features I never used on my previous washer. About the only downside is the short used (waste) water hose. I had to add about 1.5 feet to that the my installation (much easier than opening the back and completely replacing the house with a longer one. This was not a problem for me but something that might be an issue for others who don't have their washer placed essentially DIRECTLY in front of the house drain pipe.
