This dryer needed repair after 3 years, 3 months. I purchased the extended warranty because I was afraid of costly repairs but it expired 5 weeks before the problem. LG says too bad. I run about 4 loads a week and it was working fine until it wasn't. Shouldn't a dryer last more than 3 years? Not a quality machine.

I bought this gas dryer about a month ago and it does a very good job of drying my laundry. It is economical to operate and it has the features that anyone would ever want in a standard gas dryer. The price was right and very reasonable for such a deluxe gas dryer. I bought the matching washing machine too. They are stackable if so desired.

What a waste of money it hasn’t worked right since we got it three days ago thanks Home Depot for your crappy service all they care about is their bottom line

It took a few cycles of different settings for different loads to figure out what worked best for our families drying profile. Very quiet compared to our old dryer. Great capacity.

We bought this dryer to replace an older Whirlpool that had a belt issue that would've been too much labor to replace. Home Depot installed it in the same spot with the same setup. It's getting the same kinds of usage and laundry loads as our old machine, but it feels like it takes twice as long to get our clothes dry. The auto-moisture detection cycles leave you with damp or wet clothes, so now we just put it on the manual setting and crank up the time. We're incredibly dissatisfied.

LG, how much would it have cost to add a little light inside, so I can find the dark socks. Can you send me an LG flashlight? Yes. it's a great dryer based on my first load, but shocked there no light inside.

I bought this dryer and matching wash machine after research on Consumer Reports. The wash machine is the first front loading washer I've ever purchased. The dryer has numerous selections and appears to sense the exact drying time needed. It is very quiet and the digital timer allows you to know exactly how long the drying time will be.

Not work properly all cloth always wet, performance of the dry is so bad

Brought this dryer 2 mos ago. Been please so far. Still getting use to its operation. Some loads don't dry completely and have to be out in for extra rying.

This dryer works great. It is easy to use .

The lint filter melter during a cycle and now all of my clothes get caught in the filter and are wrinkled and ruined by the end of a cycle. Not worth your money

Finally tried a gas dryer after having an electric dryer for years. I am glad I made the change as my clothes dry faster. The medium heat setting on LG is enough to dry one load of clothes after 20 mins. I'm glad I made the switch and trusted LG for my transition

After a particularly bad experience with a gas dryer from a domestic (U.S.) manufacturer who claimed its product was, "dependable from day one," my new replacement gas dryer was a pleasant surprise. My previous dryer would not ignite, and after visits from five individual service technicians (none of whom were able to correct the issue), I finally gave up and purchased a new LG gas dryer. My initial impression is that it successfully ignites when heat is called for, it is quiet, and efficient. The controls are easy to understand and closely match those of my matching new LG front loading washer. It begins and ends its cycles with a cheery little tune that brings a smile to my face every time!

The dryer works great. However, when it was installed, the installers did not check if the exhaust cross- section was big enough. This issue will not appear as a failure on the installation test. The dryer was consuming 2x as much gas as my 25 y.o. dryer. After thinking about it a bit, I removed our 47 year old exhaust vent and replaced it with a vent with a much larger cross-section. Problem fixed. LG should specify the minimum exhaust in the installation manual. I would estimate it to be 3.5-4 inches.

Have this for about 2 weeks now. Enjoying our purchase. Brought it at a good price. Thanks LG. It is performing well

I like the appliance. The unfortunate part was the contracted installers you use could not remove (company policy evidently) the original dryer (stacked) and install the new one. I ended up having to pay a plumbing contractor a lot more money to have the dryer removed and the new one installed for the tenant.

Does not honor warranty. Quality not as good as our owl LT dryer

Needed to replace my LG washer and dryer after 12 years. So far works great.

No dryer light. Chime to signal cycle is done can't be heard more than a few feet away from the appliance. Very limited adjustment options for preset cycles.
