nice stuff BUT the square footage that it says it will cover does not even come close. NEW small driveway no cracks 1 year old. Way under 1000 square foot should have taken 5 buckets for 2 coats it took 10 i have done other driveways so i knew what i was doing too.the cost was not worth it and the dark beige was more gray looking.

Applied for about a month now, so far so good. Ask me again in 6-12 moths post winter.

The color was not at all as described and it was like putting plaster down on our asphalt. Not at all happy. It was super thick.

Latex-ite is much cooler than the regular blacktop sealer. I'm not worried about the dog burning his feet anymore. Excellent product

The lot that I received in natural beige was super dry and we had to add water in a mixer to make it work.

Easy to spread and coverage was pretty good. It definitely takes 2 coats to get the desired color but was very satisfied with the end result....

This sealer is nice as we wanted something lighter than black. The actual lid is misleading as it is not as pictured here. The lid is VERY dark brown and there is no label stating the color that is inside so we were unsure about opening it. But we were happy that it is the exact color that is pictured on the website. Dries darker than when it is wet, and has more of a "clay" look. It is dark beige as described.

Very good product

After coating the driveway got several compliments from the neighbors on how nice it looked. Met my expectations of lightening up the color to reduce the heat coming off the driveway from the summer sun.

Had this done over blacktop in my detached garage and the odor is a strong sewer smell. When or will the odor go away? Too early to rate but the coverage and color is good so far!! I purchased the gray.

The color was not what I expected but better than black. Coverage was nowhere near what I expected. I now know I probably should have sealed with a cheaper sealer and used this as a top coat for color

Does seem to cover and help, but for new Asphalt figure about 100 square feet per bucket (20 sq feet per gallon). The Dark beige is too dark for the desert. Absorbs too much heat and allows the Asphalt to get quite soft. Really should make it a light tan. Maybe they should consider some kind of overlayment that can reflect the heat?

The product is not available in local stores, but the delivery to my home was fast at 2 days. We painted the asphalt floor of a 2,000 sq.ft. aircraft hangar. It went on very nicely. It was fairly thick, so we used a squeege to spread it , then used rollers to finish it. It covered nicely in one coat over a previous coating, but we got a small amount of bleed through in some areas. A second coat in these areas fixed that. We used about half of what the coverage indicated. 2-1/2 buckets covered the floor vs the 5 that I bought. The material is very tough. We slid some shelf racks across the floor 2 days after painting it, and there was no damage, just some small scuff marks, which we may paint over.

Product was easy to use, got shipped wrong color to begin with. Second try got the right one. Driveway looks good happy with end product

This color sealer was not hard to spread and the color looks great! Very satisfied!

I applied with squeegee as recommended by manufacturer and I found that air and surface temperature greatly affected the yield or area of surface covered. Driveway had been patched up prior to application. My advice would be to apply product when air temperature does not exceed 85 degrees and when driveway has not heated up or has had time to cool off.

Product looks great, covers well and easily. Only unknown is longevity. If it turns out to be durable it would be a solid 5 star product.

Great material. The container cover color has no bearing on the material color. The beige is much darker then the cover would imply. Other than that, the material applied well. The job called for 10 gallons per their calculation but it took 25 gallons to cover the driveway.

I ordered the natural beige color but it turned out totally different color (Not beige as claimed).

Don't know if I would ever use this product. again. !!!

I had a huge circular black top driveway that I wanted to change without spending a bunch of money. I purchase this product in beige color and it looks absolutely beautiful. Dried just like cement. I have had lots of people stop and compliment how great it looks and also ask what i used and where to buy it from. This stuff is fantastic. It's been several weeks and it's holding strong. You MUST NOT put this over oil stains. Clean up any oil vary well first.

Nothing about this job has been easy! Even trying to write this review! I wrote one and while in the middle of reading the preview a pop up came on the screen and said my review was no longer available. Hmm. well trying again! If I had to do it all over again i think I would pay a professional to seal our driveway even if it were black. I am a DIY and have done many jobs around the home including all painting and refinishing and brickwork. The guy in the video made it look so simple. I know I read that you have to have a min. temp to work with this but did not see anything with a max. temp. Be forewarned.....in the hotter temps this stuff doesn't pour and you have to stir it continuously. The stuff just kind of plopped on the driveway and was not all that spreadable. I used a power tool to stir it for about 20 min. straight and kept stirring it every 10 min. or so. No matter how hard I tried to get the even smooth look on the driveway......no success. After crying from frustration, my dear husband took over the job. He also had a hard time keeping lines and irregularities from showing. We went through all 5 buckets and still having about 30% of our driveway to go. and.....the part undone is very visible from passerbyers. Not too impressive after all the hard work and expense. After waiting for the next 3 buckets to arrive they sent us the WRONG color. Now we have to return the error back to the store and pay before refund to get the other 3 beige color on their way. Then we have to hope and pray for another 36 hour window of no rain. So, in my opinion......too expensive, too difficult to work with, weather conditions have to be just right...and not that all impressed with how it looks . We are hoping it will look better after entire driveway is complete and over a period of time. Only time will tell and I will try to do an update. I do know that after driving on the part that is done the dirty tire marks show up quite a bit. Frustration is even higher, since it has to be such a problem now to get the rest of the buckets, wait for good weather and also trying to write this review!!! I have been in the paving business for over 25 years. I had a cured, never sealed patio that I wanted to seal beige. When I received the product, I was very impressed. After I put 2 coats on, it looked great!. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after the application, cracks began to appear. Within another week, there were hundreds. I contacted Latexite and the customer service was very good. They couldn't figure out why the cracks appeared, and I couldn't either. Maybe I got a bad batch? Anyway, they gave me a refund. So there's something to be said for that. It's too bad that my patio looks kind of terrible, but I'll just have to wait until next year, and hope it wears off a bit. Then I think I'll try something else.

This is an edit of the first review I submitted regarding Latexite driveway sealant. had some issues with the product at first, although it looked fantastic, consistency was a problem. The people who manufacture this product pay attention to reviews, and subsequently made sure that I was more than satisfied with the product. I would have used Latexite again even if this had not been the case, but now, want to ensure anyone who wants to have a great looking driveway - invest in the sealant. This product is made in America by proud Americans.

The product applied easily. I thought it would have a thicker consistencey. Two coats were required to cover the asphalt around my pool area and patio. I am happy with the color, even though I thought it would be lighter. The beige color looks like concrete when dry. When wet, it looks like mud.

Used to add color for inside foul line area of court. Looks awesome but be sure to mix throroughly or there may be some streaks. But nice suprise is that they include two bonus items. Sealer mixer to connect to your drill and a sealer cover. Nice! Highly recommend and would buy again. Did two coats and still have about 20% extra for touch up if needed. Bought beige.
