If you are looking for a way to get away from having your TV or internet cable from coming up thru the floor, this is the way to do it. Preferably you would want to use these on new construction installations but it is fairly east to install these on older homes too. My house was built in 1977 and I have installed these plates in every room that I have cable TV. I simply ran the cable into the wall from below, installed an outlet box designed for mounting to the drywall and attached the plate to the box after connection the cable. Its a great way to neaten up your cables.

Can't give it al 5 stars as it hasn't been in use that long. Nice color, sturdy construction and makes contact from one side to the other. The threads work well with any coaxial cable that I've used. I tried it in a few places for testing. I need 6 more to complete my project. It fits nicely on any 2 x 4 electrical wall stud box and screws are provided for attachment.

Previously our home had combination phone and cable jack plates in each room. As we no longer have traditional home phone I have been replacing these wall plates with only cable jacks. These plates are durable and are of good quality. The bright white plates look great with a freshly painted room. I have had no issues with signal quality or internet speeds when using these wall plates.

I use these wall plates, as replacements, all the time at the facility. The plates are medium size which helps me because the walls at my facility are made of cinder block and sometimes the wall where the box is located is chipped and has a larger opening that a small unit can cover. The connector is the standard type for coax cable. They work well.

so midway actually means it is bigger than the standard size. i have installed many,many of these and did not realize this. so if your installer cut the box opening to large or if you did it yourself ? accidentally of course. then this cover plate is exactly what you need. it works every bit as good as your cable or dish company will install. yet they will no doubt charge you more then going to home depot. do it before they arrive, takes 3 minutes and is easy.

This is a basic design of a cable wall connection. Better style will have a separate square plate cover type instead of a single piece design. From your Antenna or cable go into the house, a good midway catv wall plate is a good idea to keep your cable connection much clean and well organize. Installation is simple just cut a square hole on the wall and install a box close to the vertical beam then insert your cable ( RG6) into the box with sealed connector ( for moisture proof) then connect to the wall plate connector will be done. For this model there provide 3 different color for you to match your internal wall color. The connector is well present in a quality made. for few bucks of cost and it brings you the most economic good cable connection.

Midway wall plate is a well made cable jack. It is very easy to install with just a fillip screwdriver. It comes with hardware to install, But you need cable wire with the F-fitting on the cable. I like this type of cover because it has a much cleaner look over the plate with the round center hole and the wire hanging out the hole. I hope this help you with your decision. It is a television aerial socket that you plug the wire into. It's white and made of a sturdy plastic and measures 3 inches x 4 3/4 inches. It is the same size as most electrical wall sockets. This will blend in with them. It is made by Leviton and you know that what your getting from them is going to be a decent product. Very easy to install with only 2 screws.

I ordered the plate, and it was promptly shipped, well packaged, and arrived in great shape. The plate assembly includes the male to male fitting already installed on the plate, and two color topped screws. The cable is easy to attach before putting the plate over the box, and the two screws secure the plate to the box. Too easy! This item is well made and fits nicely. It finishes off a cable nicely. I've been using the Leviton wall plates for years now and always had good luck. They are tough, durable and easy to install. I prefer the midway size. They are a bit bigger than the standard size and provide a bit of extra coverage to help conceal any imperfections around the outlet box. The good quality materials combined with the very affordable price makes them a good choice.
