I really like these better than the safety GFI

Got this for the garage and wanted one with colored buttons and indicator light. The colors make pressing the correct button easier, and the indicator light lets you know if the unit is active or in a fail mode. Installation was easy with the ability to protect outlets down stream.

Good product and always in stock

I love the gfi outlets. It just makes sense to use them for the benefit of adding a bit more safety when using or working around electrical outlets. This purchase was to add an outlet over my work bench in my garage by branching off an out in the kitchen sharing the same wall.

This Leviton GFCI outlet works nicely. I like how it has a light on the front of it to tell you the status of the GFCI. It is easy to test and reset.

Easy to install. Works excellent

Just what the Dr. ordered for a failed GFCI. My original with the house, 17 year old bathroom GFCI failed (tripped and would only reset for a second before tripping again; I disconnected the downstream circuit, same result). The new Leviton works great and has the advantage of a green LED that the 17 year old didn't have, it shows when the outlet is live and protecting correctly.

These GFCI plugs are pretty good. I have had several not work out of the box but Home Depot ia really good about exchanging them. The ones that work last and do a good job. They are getting more and more expensive as everything else in life does. I will be buying more of these.

Power light is really useful

Used this product to replace a 30 year old outlet in bathroom. Connection was very easy to do, although I had to do some work on the juryrig wiring from the original installation. I plan on buying a couple more of these to replace my other outlets.

I have had this GFCI outlet for 1 year. I like that it was easy to install, and is clean-looking and pleasing to the eye. Exceeds my expectations.

Had to return it because was DOA.

Beware that one or more people at Leviton decided to switch the line & load connectors over the years. After making sure of the right current rating, same red & black buttons, etc. one would expect it to be pretty much the same product, maybe better. But you want to know, molded into the white plastic, in a tiny white on white font, among a sea of other words, these two somewhat similar four letter words are swapped. The interim solution: use a volt meter & a magnifying glass. Leviton could improve by using larger fonts, in contrasting print, and maybe even a separate family style to reduce the number of retail returns if not to save installers some trouble. Just because digital publishing can shrink a font or drag text, does not give you the right to use small fonts or move connectors.

There is very little to say about a GFCI . It either works or it does not work.

$13.97, lowest price for this type of outlet and it has additional features like the led and self test. Functions perfectly as required. good warranty. great value.

Good packaging, upscale product! Screws backed out ready for wiring into circuit, good packaging to keep product clean until installation.

The outlet seems to be excellent quality for the price, almost half of other GFCI outlets at Home Depot and elsewhere. The only problem I had when installing it was that the terminals are on the opposite sides than a standard duplex. Once seeing that it was easy to install and get it working. Extremely happy with it so far!

This outlet was easy to install and would purchase this outlet again if ever needed a GFCI.

easy to use and nice instructions to verify install procedures

Installed a total of 6 GFCIs in my condo 3 in kitchen, 2 in Master Bathroom, 1 in guest bathroom, in the past year have used these outlets for just about every type of electrical small appliance toaster, hair dryer, coffee machine, iphones, mixer, No problem with any outlet, Yes I would recommend to Friends and Family.

Replaced the old one with this one, did not work. Reset button is loose and will not reset. Cleaned up the old one, cleaned old wiring, and old one is working again.
