It works fine for a 110 unit. The heater runs almost constantly. I haven't got an electric bill yet. It is good construction.

Hello! Thank you for your review. We're so happy to hear you're enjoying and loving your new Lifesmart LS100DX spa! Please note that the jet pump is also the heater; the spa heats via a thermal pump. Once the spa reaches set temperature the pump will automatically shut off. You will see the pump activate once an hour to do water sampling to check if the spa lost any heat and needs to heat back up to the set temperature. Continue to let the pump run and it will automatically sustain the set temperature 24/7. When not in use, the spa will maintain the set temperature as long as the cover is locked down with the cover locks. ~Happy Soaking!!

The tub was poorly designed, no heater !!! Pump and motor would heat the water ! Very noisy , ran very often even after temp was met, shell was very poris and rough to the finish.....

When not in use, the spa will maintain the set temperature as long as the cover is locked down with the cover locks. The spa does make some vibrating noise when the pump is activated. The shell is made of plastic and it looks and feels like plastic. Best way to describe is comparing the shell surface to an orange peel where it is smooth but there is some texture to it. You can use 100 grit sandpaper on the surface to smooth it out. Not good warranty
Easy to plug-in, loved it every day for almost 3 years, but it started leaking 18 inches down internally, which cannot be fixed as it is all self-contained interior so zero value now

I LOVE this spa!!! I recently had shoulder surgery and this spa has been a lifesaver. I was worried that the 110 volt plug wouldn’t heat the spa up as high as we wanted it, but it does! Its perfect!

Do Not Buy!!!!!!
The Hot Tub start bulging.. the bulge got bigger the longer we ran it then start leaking, I called the manufacturer as indicated by the warranty information and nothing .. no help.. multiple email.. no help. Called Home Depot where it was purchased and they have offered no assistance they said call the manufacturer! Save your money, buy elsewhere!!!!

I love my spa, but the process of ordering it was wrought with obstacles. The order was cancelled by you because it was out of stock, and I was not informed until I called to question it. Then the address was misspelled and it was a horrible process to get it corrected. All in all, three 40 minute phone calls! I don't think I will ever order a large item from Home Depot again and have told all my friends about this horrible process.

So far we have been very happy with our hot tub. Delivery and set up went easily. Heated up quickly. Was enjoying warm waters in less time than expected. Plenty of room. Nice hot tub for the money.

I like the product quality but the advertised 4 person capacity is totally misleading. I tried getting 2 adults that are 6 ft tall in this and it doesn't work. This model might good for 4 smaller kids but definitely is not large enough for 4 adults over 5 ft tall.

Didn’t heat up
I’m on day 6 of having my hot tub plugged in and turned on. It’s still not even up to 103 degrees. I decided to get into it last night and the temperature went from 102 to 99 in a matter of minutes. It’s not even a cold winter here in Spokane WA. Super disappointing. The seats are uncomfortable, goofy and feel claustrophobic. The fact that it claims to be a 4 person is a joke. The material of the inside is rough and scratches your skin. Luckily, Home Depot made it super easy to return. Sad.

I love my new hot tub, it’s the perfect size for me and my wife. I’m 6 foot and I have plenty of room. Not sure about four people though.

Took time to ship but arrived on the date. One can’t block the time of day. Lucky I hadn’t left in the morning. Then I called for installation a week later.

Shipping took a month of Sundays and when it finally arrived it was left at the curb so me and my wife who are up there in age had to push it 100 feet into the back. The hot tub works well though.

Only been using it for about 3 weeks, but it's been great so far. For the money, it seems to be a high quality tub. Found no leaks when we turned it on, it heated up like it's supposed to and everything works fine. More like a 2-3 person tub and not a 4 person, but that's all we need. It arrived ahead of schedule and it's light enough to easily get it placed where we wanted it. Way better than spending 10K or more on one.

Received our hot tub. We were able to set it up and fill it up and the next day we were able to be in it. It suits us very well. My husband uses it every night after work and I use it every morning to start my day. easy to maintain, easy to clean the filter. I love the waterfall and the pretty lights, I recommend this product to my neighbor. It’s very easy to move if you have to relocate yourself.

Hello PAUL! We're so happy to hear you are enjoying your new Lifesmart LS100DX Spa! There are no mechanisms installed in our spas that will cool the water by turning down the set temperature. You will need to empty water out every few days during the summer months and replace it with cooler fresher water to keep the temperature down. Our spas are very well insulated and are designed to maintain heat. The ambient temperature will cause the spas to heat in the hotter summer months. ~ Happy Soaking!

Just Perfect!
Ordering/Delivery: lead time was 6 weeks on the website. We got it in 4 weeks! Our hot tub was delivered on a pallet in our driveway. My wife and I EASILY moved it the last 50' by sliding it on the cardboard that was part of the packaging.
Pros: The 110v plug n play is awesome. No electrician. It holds its temperature like a champ. Jets are adjustable and perfect.
Cons: Not a single con, not a one.
