Worked well but a little tough squeeze out of the tube using a caulking gun. Had to cut the tip down past the taper in the tip.

Worked great. It is really thin and I was worried it wouldn’t hold. But it did. Dried quickly and no mess.

The material is so thick that it is very difficult to squeeze out of the nozzle.., even with a 3/16 inch cut on the tip.

This sealant is sticky, guns easily if it is warm, and lasts near forever if installed properly.

Most of the one-star reviews are due to the goofy date code. Each time, Henkle responds that you should check the date, but there is no date! Instead, it's a purposely deceptive code number. Why isn't Henkle honest enough to print the date in plain English like every other product on the planet?

For more than forty years I have used various caulks to prevent water damage in buildings. Two of those are head and shoulders above the rest and those are 100% silicone and polyurethane. While siding my home this winter I used "brand X" caulking because the local lumber yard didn't have a polyurethane and I couldn't use silicone because it needs to be painted. What a disaster. It cured so slowly that eventually a rain washed it out of the siding joints. Fortunately, I found the Loctite polyurethane at Home Depot. It worked wonderfully and I and the siding are both happy. I recommend polyurethane caulking if you want something that will last for decades, stay where it is applied, and not harden or shrink.

Caulk was old and already hard.

sealant was real hard to get out of the tube (at least with a hand gun) did not flow well a all, had the consistency of putty not sealant or caulking. really could not use at all (maybe would be better on a 100 degree day) I was trying at 70 degree

Locktite PL white Window, door and siding polyurethane is the best sealant to use for exterior caulking for its superior longevity, adhesion, and flexibility. It never cracks and the seal remains intact on all substrates. The only problem I have with this product is the shelf life and you have to be careful not to get any extra on clothing or anything else, because it is permanent and cannot be easily cleaned.

Don't get this on your hands. It works really well

This sealant is very durable and it can be painted. However it sets up to a curdle very fast and is hard to apply and get a smooth finish look. The durability and high quality seal maybe worth the application issues especially where access heat and elements are a factor. I will continue to use this product because it sticks very well and does not shrink or crack or separate from the two surfaces it bridges Fiji692

Used to seal my new Rubbermaid shed and it did great. So far no leaks or major issues with the seams I sealed and we have had 2 snow storms and have gone from 80s to 20s. Will see how it holds in the summer rain and high heat months

I purchased this Loctite Polyurethane caulk to use in my outdoor house painting project. It was almost impossible to get the caulk out of the tube because it was OLD OLD OLD!. Using two hands on the caulk gun I managed to get some caulk out of the tube, but to understand the force necessary, I also bent the caulk gun doing this. There is no date on the packaging, so you, as the customer/purchaser, have no readily available means to determine the age of the product, but rest assured, if it comes from Home Depot, it is OLD! If you ignore this warning/review and buy the other aged caulk from the HD shelves, you deserve what you get. If you have a contractor working on your home, and you allow the contractor to purchase HD supplied caulk to use in your home, you deserve what you get. According to the manager at HD (who was very nice and truly tried to be helpful), who I spoke with when I returned the OLD caulk that HD had sold to me as new, HD relies on its distributors to maintain the currency of their shelf stock, so, in other words, NO ONE MAINTAINS THE CURRENCY OF THEIR SHELF STOCK.

Love this stuff! Super messy but easy to apply and sticks to everything.

Excellent product. I used it to seal a gap in my box truck .. and no more leaks ..
