The activator was dry and had to wait for everything to dry.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and we're sorry to hear about your experience with our product. We get this feedback a lot as the felt tip is dry to the touch and this is normal. The activator is a solvent prep/adhesion promoter that is clear and sometimes very hard to see on objects being bonded. Checking the activator on a piece of white paper will definitively provide a visual of solvent presence by wetting the paper. On a clean piece of paper, run a short line over it, using the applicator. If it leaves a wet mark where the felt tip was, you'll see all that is dispensed at a time. There is no liquid inside (only a saturated white paper/sponge) and the tip does not depress. Keep in mind the activator evaporates very quickly on bonding surfaces. If there is no evidence of a wet spot on the paper, then it is possible the product is expired. Lot code information can be found on the activator tube. If you ever need assistance with our products, please reach out to our technical team.

Works really on the plastics noted. Only negative is it seems like cap and container always get locked up after the first use?

It felt just like basic super glue. The activator is basically unusable, as it was basically empty, the felt tip almost completely dry, and it would leave fuzz behind when you use it on the rough, broken plastic.

Worked on tough plastic
This worked on a strap loop broken off the case of a trail camera. The piece had a small bonding surface and must resist a certain amount of force. It’s a tough, hard plastic but I could not determine the material type. Other plastic glues had not worked and this did.

I've tried a lot of solutions already in my cabinet for gluing plastic pieces together, and the glue will either melt the plastic or not stick to the surface. This two-component epoxy worked; it also came with enough precision in the application tip (although I still used a toothpick to apply for my first project) that the liquid material isn't spread all over the surface of the plastic. I didn't think I needed another glue in the drawer, but this epoxy set did what otherwise I couldn't solve without.

The product works great but the bottle of glue is to small. If you have a large fix you need to buy multiple packs to get the job done.

Did not work to bond the adjustable plastic straps on the back of a cap. Some snaps were broken, so I tried to glue the straps together permanently. Apparently “bonds ALL Plastic” did not apply here.

The activator is a pen and seemed almost dried up. I tried it on car plastic and it kinda worked. However, it certainly didn’t give me any confidence in the repair like a super glue usually does.

Works well yet seems to take a bit more time to bind than the 60 to 120 seconds they say to hold the plastic pieces together.

The Activator portion of this product was already solidified and could not be used therefore I did return the product. You were supposed to use first the activator on the plastic area to be bonded and then the actual bonding product.

The product was unusable, the primer was a solid block. It is unknown if this was just old on the shelves or the entire lot is bad. I will not buy this again.

This product did not work. The activator appeared to be dried out as I did not see much chemical on the applicator (even after shaking the tube and turning it upside down) to put on both pieces of plastic. The glue part did hold the pieces together but when I tried to use the repaired piece it broken again at the same spot. Do NOT buy this, it does NOT work! Its a shame, because Loctite was a good company...or so I thought.

Absolutely fabulous product. Better than I had hoped for as it was able bond perfectly and securely broken lower rocker arm trim pieces (made of plastic) on our Ford Fusion. Weeks later the broken plastic is still bonded.

Wish I knew this existed sooner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this while looking for super glue and wish I had this sooner! My kids toys break on occasion and usually we toss them. However it's harder to do so when it's their favorite. This glue saved the day for us and our daughters favorite plastic toy! We let it take a while to dry but it bonded really well and she's happy it's still here!
