This plasma cutter doesnt want to start. One day i connected it back up set the pressure and filter to have no arc. The temperature light doesnt want to go away even when its cold. Save your money. Too bad my homedepot warranty expired too

The idea of this smaller portable plasma cutter was nice, but it hardly cuts anything and the thermal overload shuts the unit down after a few attempts to even get it to cut. I will be returning it.

I've been needing a plasma cutter for 2 years now. Having gone thru college classes I understand how expensive consumables can be. They are amazingly cheap and you always get what you pay for. Can't see spending 1500 on a machine and 100 for a single consumable nozzle. My only issue is you can not find the consumables online or in store tho I did find them on another website with a 40% price increase. If home depot sells the machine they shouldn't sell the consumables to a 3rd party who have driven the price too high.

Used it 3 times. On the 4th turn it started to smoke from the inside of the machine.

So far I like it the problem I have it calls for 30 amp and you can’t far a 30 amp rec to match the plug that comes on it

purchased Lotus LT 3500 last fall worked ok this spring tried to us it, plugged it in, turned the switch on it popped the breaker, tried calling cust. service 408 739 2329 no one answers and will not return your call . lousy company, save your money don't buy lotus

This was purchased as a hobby & farm equipment tool. Delivery was a couple days early. Everything needed for 1st use was in the box. Assembly was simple and started cutting immediately. As a hobby unit, I highly recommend but if your cutting anything over 3/8" you need a bigger unit.

Uncrated cutter, test cut a 4" cut. Next morning I tried to cut some 18 ga. metal, cutter would not arc. Heat indicator was on, would not clear. Cutter was not hot, had not run since yesterday. Sending unit back. Work still sitting on table with unworking NEW machine. Great advertising for poor equipment.

Only used it twice so far, and performance has met my expectations. The cost of the unit was quite reasonable, and usable with a standard 115 volt outlet as long as DC output power is dialed down from full power to prevent AC supply breaker from tripping. On the downside, the cost of consumables is much higher than the average of other brands, and in my case one of the contacts in one of the torch cables pulls out each time I unplug the cables from the unit. I would recommend this unit if you know and accept in advance that consumables are expensive.

Works well, easy setup. After market consumables seem very expensive. Also, have it plugged into a dedicated 20A outlet and consistently trips the breaker if cutting for longer than 60-70 seconds at a time, that is why I gave it 4 stars. Does not specify 30A circuit requirement

The machine worked fine, the consumables burnt up real fast. I used it for a few days then got frustrated at the consumables and returned it. Maybe it was me, it did do the job. If the consumambles didnt burn out so fast i would have kept it.

Works suprisingly well for the price and what not. Really enjoying it. 10/10.

This plasma cutter has exceeded all my expectations. It has performed better than i expected.

Great plasma cutter for my needs at a great price easy to use, makes clean cuts. Owners manual needs improvement. A plastic hose came with the cutter nothing in the manual tells me where it belongs.

So far not too impressed . The first one I got didn't last 4 minutes. I returned it and got another one .This one works ok but kinda skips a lot on the higher settings. It seems to work good so far on the low settings .

Worked excellently right out of the box. I use it to cut knife blanks out of circle saw blades. It cut my work time by 80%. And I can do more intricate designs.

first off this thing sucks a big ol pair of nuts. it lasted 30 minutes before busting a load, I wish I could last that long, but I'm not a plasma cutter. It tripped the breaker and never worked after that. I heard a big surge before it kicked the breaker and all of the lights went out. don't buy this product. it was fun for the 30 minutes it lasted but I would recommend spending at LEAST $500 on a plasma cutter even for a hobbiest.

Prodigy worked as expected, however it quit working after 2 hours. Home Depot was great as always. I ordered a new one, hoping it was just a fluke.

great little cutter for the price cut right thru 1/8" thick metal like a hot knife thru butter JUST ONE NOTE OF ADVICE : WHEN CUTTING THRU A SURFACE THAT'S PAINTED MAKE SURE TO GRIND OFF PAINT FRIST IT WILL CUT BETTER AND FASTER I custom build hot rods and use it to cut thru metal panels and so far it works great no issues

I've had this plasma cutter for about a month now and have used it several times on some home projects I'm working on. For what it is and what it costs it's a great deal. But don't confuse it with a two thousand dollar 220 volt machine. For lite hobby and some auto body work its great, but your not cutting up a car frame with it.

Cuts great for a 110 unit

Good for small project like car sheet metal and DIY projects for the house.
