It doesn’t have quality for the price I paid for. The first one was broken in a month, let’s see how long the second one will last.

This is a replacement for a handle that no longer works. It was easy to replace; only tool required was a screwdriver. It was not necessary to shut off the water supply. Easy-Peasy!

Direct replacement for broken knob easy to install, looks and works great

During our main bathroom renovation, the old plumbing stuff was pitched, so needed to buy new Moen parts. HomeDepot had everything that was needed on their website. Easy installation.

Like me you're likely replacing this because your teenager also over-twisted it while turning it off, causing the shaft to fracture. This is a very common knob with an equally common problem. The shaft is only plastic and it is NOT reinforced by a metal O-ring or washer of any kind. The same holds true for the Moen #100710 replacement. If you're not very careful during install, it is even possible to break it while installing it. The washer which comes with it was not thick enough to prevent over-tightening the knob during my install which definitely warranted the addition of at least one more washer to insure that the knob was tightened enough to prevent breaking again or making contact other areas of the install location. Price at tie of my purchase was $12.97 - more than twice the cost of a 100% IDENTICAL ITEM (#94514 @ $6.14) by the same company-but deemed an "online only" item. I recommend purchasing the 94514 instead to save the extra dinero if time and need permit.

It was missing the Screw

Easy to install...I do want to know why it breaks ~every 3 or 4 years

This item was very Easy to install and compatible with the fixture I already had. I highly recommend this product to anyone. The cap was simple enough to remove and replace the top that lets you know hot or cold temperatures.

Easy to install and a quality product

Not a cheap built plastic handle, made well an of course, easy to install. I was concerned because my shower handle was 20 years old and didn’t know whether I could get another thanks to Home Depot in stock on the shelf out the door all good..

Works good also had to get a cartridge as well.

Does not seem to be an exact replacement. The washer is not a washer and seems unnecessary. Specific instructions would be helpful.

Was the right replacement

Exactly what I needed to repair/replace shower control handle. Saved me needing to have plumber repair it. Price was reasonable

These replacement handles are not very sturdy. The first one I bought did not last very long before the center stem fractured, rendering the handle useless. I am now using the current one very carefully, hoping it does not break.
