We purchased this tile for our bathroom shower. It came via delivery from our local store. After looking at the reviews we saw that the common issue with it is the color is not consistent. So we decided to go through them. We got through 1 case and several were a different color, most were chipped and broken and many were already used and had thin set on them already. It’s poor quality tile and the delivery from store was awful. Don’t recommend at all.

Tile dry set looked great applied grout and you see 12 x 12 squares of different colors staring at you like a sore thumb. Home Depot will give me Store credit for the unused tile but NOT the eight cases that are already installed. MSI has given me an over the phone sorry for your inconvenience. I guess that’s how Doers get more done!!

Do not purchase these tiles from Home Depot!! They delivered these tiles on a pallet, wrapped together. They are all different colors, within the same dye lot. You can not tell until you grout them. Other reviews say the same thing but I did not read the reviews until after the purchase. When I went back to the store to seek assistance, the assistant manager asked me to email the pictures to her and then NEVER responded to me. This was a week ago. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

Important: I bought two boxes with same lot numbers and were never opened. You cannot see the color variations until you grout. However, it is too late by this point. I show a picture before grout and after grout. We have to redo the whole floor. This product should not be sold by Home Depot. Too many customers having same issue.

Was hesitant to buy based on some of the reviews and mid matched coloring.. however these tiles for the price are amazing. We had zero issues with mismatch tile, they are incredibly strong and don’t get scratched easily. I love the look. First time tiling, did it myself so I consider easy install!

I knew about the potential color issues with this tile and bought it for my shower anyway. I thought I'd just look out for any mismatched colors before I install it, and I did, comparing pieces in different lighting before installing it. All looked good until I grouted... the white grout made it possible to finally see the color differences, even within a single sheet of tile, let alone within the same box. SO FRUSTRATING! They have a terrible quality control issue with this product.

The tiles stayed adhered to the backing and stuck well to the wall. The pieces due not break while cutting. I only used for small shower niche so didn’t notice any discoloration.

I bought over 300sq feet. I installed it in my kitchen. With in 2 weeks I had cracked tile and others pulling up. I think that if the initial sales person wanted to spend the time assisting me I would never have bought it, especially for a kitchen floor.

Picked up two cases at the store for my bathroom. The tiles in the case are two different colors. Some were white and the others are more of a creamier white. They’re not all the same! Please don’t waste your time like I did and verify all the tiles are the same color before installing. Or skip this product all together and save yourself the hassle.

Before I tiled I made sure that the tile was all from the same color lot number. Once you put it up on the wall you can really see the color variation. The worst part is you don’t really notice it until it’s all secure on the wall and then it’s too late. We tried to pull some of the tile off and it ripped the cement board off. You should be able to pull tiles from the same color lot and expect them to be all the same. This is not the case with these tiles. Don’t waste your money on these.

Don’t ignore the reviews like I did. We couldn’t make out any differences between tiles until after I began to grout. Given how much effort went into installation in the first place, I’m now stuck with mismatched tile. It’s obviously a manufacturer issue, as some sheets included different-colored individual tiles. Honestly if it was more random I’d be able to overlook it. Absolutely infuriating.

Each sheet was a slightly different color, and it was difficult to see before grouting. Now we have to rip it all out and start over. Very expensive problem.

We ensured to pull tile from the same sealed box and had extreme color variations. The worst part is you don’t see the color variations until after you grout. When we dry-fit the tile, it looked great. When we laid the tile with mortar is looked great. Once we grouted, you could see many color variations sometimes even within the same sheet.

Looks clean and modern in our guest bath

First of all, I've installed thousands of square feet of tile over the years. I've installed hexagon style tile both on & off a backing mat. I purchased this tile for one of the best customers I have ever had, to install as a backsplash in her new kitchen. The first piece that I cut to go under the kitchen window approx 5.5" tall had 3 tiles fall off as soon as I picked it up off of the tile saw. It was not a good start & it didn't get any better. I even had individual hexagons fall off when setting a full sheet. It seems as soon as the glue got wet, it would let go. It caused us to install spacers between every single piece we set. At one point we had 2500 plus spacers on the wall at one time! I have never had this problem before, sure there ae always a piece here & there that you have to correct & install spacers around it. But never have I had to do every single hexagon. This was the most painful & tedious tile project I have ever done in 30+ years! Never again will i buy an MSI tile product!

Bought two boxes right next to each other on the shelf and did not match. Couldn’t tell in warm light while laying and discovered later. SO FRUSTRATING!!! Contacted MSI about product inconsistencies and they blamed Home Depot for stocking two die lots at same location. Be extremely careful and check each box in cool light. It shows in pictures pretty well too.

The grout lines are nominally set at 1/8". If you are matching other tiles to same grout line, that is good to know. However, each tile is mounted on the mesh backing very poorly. I am getting grout lines between 1/16 and 3/16. The only way to fix this is to either unmount them from the backing or to use a matching grout color.

Nice but not shiny

You can't find a better price on these tiles anywhere. They install just like any other mosaic.

The tiles are user friendly, especially for beginners taking on a DIY project. The mesh backing helps the tile stick to the thinset, and keeps the tiles spaced evenly, so spacers are not required. These tiles look adorable on a countertop.

The tile was beautiful out of the box. It was the best value we could find for our shower and it turned out beautiful. Went with a dark grout to compliment the bathroom floor. Easy to work with and easy to install for a novice.

We purchased this tile for our small (5’x8’) master bath renovation. It was easy to lay the tile, and it looks great with the charcoal colored fusion pro grout we used. We were very pleased with how it came out.

We made these work but I would never recommend them. The meeting they are on is incredibly poor quality and they’re not all evenly spaced in it. We also found multiple tiles that were chipped out of the box.

Great deal on tile, we had to sort through several boxes to find pieces that were not chipped or broken but we are very happy with the tile.

I didnt read any reviews on the tile before I bought it and tiled my entire shower with it. DO NOT BUY THIS TILE. just like every other review is saying. If you are using it on a larger area you will see color variations and then once you get it all cleaned, you will see some sheets are bright white, and the others have a shade of pink. It looks terrible. I also hate how flimsy the back paper mesh is. It makes it really difficult to get a strong bond and I find these tiles pop off easily.

A little challenging to cut the small pieces but it was my first time laying tile. Other than that it was easy to install, lines up well, doesn’t chip or crack, and stays attached to the backing. Looks great as my new shower floor!
