My home has an E.L. Mustee durabase shower pan when it was built in 1968. It lasted nearly 52 years, so that is why I bought another. It was easy to install DIY. I also used the Mustee durawall 247wht to complete the shower. I am very happy with both products. I put in a new Moen Positemp valve

It was not easy to install. That was a lie....
It was not easy to install. That was a lie. It's difficult to insert the pieces correctly, and set it up correctly. The walls are not sturdy, they are very thin and flimsy. The base shower bottom is thin, and not thick. It's way over priced for the quality.

Comes with drain seal 32.401 for pvc piping. We needed...
Comes with drain seal 32.401 for pvc piping. We needed 32.404 for copper piping. Real pain in the neck to get over the drain. Spent another $26. for item and shipping cost. Keep it lubricated while working it over the drain.
