Great tool! Surprisingly strong. Bought it to do tapcons with and it does the job well. Can drill many 5/32 or 3/16 holes on one 3 amp battery. Can’t speak to its effectiveness with larger bits we have a larger electric hammer drill to tackle those jobs. But if you strap on concrete lots or use tapcons instead of ram set on bottom plates in basements this is the tool for you. Very quit in comparison with other hammer drills and goes threw concrete with very little effort.

Drilled a perfect 1” hole 6” deep through hard stone. Took a whole fully charged slim battery to get through.

Lite weight and easy to use, however even when using there 5ah battery the drill just does not have the power that there other 18v cordless have . I was quite disappointed with this Makitas performance.

I plan on using it mostly for Tapcon screws and small anchors in masonry when dragging out my big electric model is inconvenient and not necessary. I only wish it had a hammer only the option.

Great compact drill

Great drill for home projects. It isn't the fastest drill ever but gets the job done.

No holding clip for tool belt , I returned just for that reason, a $ 0.20 cents clip

Great product

Excellent tool

Easy tool to set up very light weigh with a lot of power.....

I have not owned it long, but so far it has met expectations. I mainly use it to drill anchor holes. I have used it to drill up to a three quarter inch hole. It had no troubles. It is lightweight and being cordless makes it easy to drill holes when you're up next to the roof line in commercial buildings. Also when you need a hole or two quickly and do not want to get out corded drills, especially in remote locations. The rpms are slower than my corded Bosch but it drills fine. A basic drill with no frills and does the job. No case or batteries.

I bought this hammer to put in concrete anchors. It works very well for that. Don't expect to drill large holes with it. It's not made for that.

Bad to the bone. Very light weight and drills tap one in seconds.
