Easy to use and works great. I'm slowly shifting to all electric tools and this one does exactly what I want!!

Good tool to work with my blower and weedwacker. The battery is interchangeable. I now have 2 batteries and 3 tools. Should work for my needs. Proof in the pudding will be years down the road. For now I am happy with these new Makita tools%.

This trimmer is lightweight and great for any hedge trimming you need to do. The long battery life allows me to do several hours of work.

This particular cordless device is way slow and underpowered for any sizeable job at all. Would be ok for very small jobs. I simply had to return it which for some reason did not go very smooth. Im want to stick with home depot when i can you know.

I have been using a black & decker trimmer along with a bunch of other battery operated tools but the batteries starting going bad, I decided to go back and pay a little extra for Makita and purchased a bunch of different tools and this hedge trimmer is one of them. It cuts great compared to what I was using and the battery last my entire trimming job which is great. Between the 36v chainsaw, sawzaw ,blower and now the hedge trimmer I can get everything I need done on my property. Have 4 batteries now , should be good 2 go for many years.

Easy to use. Trims boxwoods & several other bushes nicely. Very happy with this purchase.

Blade seems cheaply made. I only trimmed part of one bush and this thing was making a lot of noise. Seems the blade was bent.. I just returned it. I suppose that on small light ,very light, job this would be fine. Just not for me.

It is very simple to work, you do not need experience to cut your bushes.

This hedger is the bomb, lightweight but very durable and strong. Makita makes tools right.

My trimmer works beautifully. Took it out of the box put the battery in and it was often running.!!
