We use it to grind 12,000 psi exopy grout and it works great. I purchased dozens of these and never had any problems.

Totally surprised at the way this cup wheel cut through the rust and flattened the surface. I used a pneumatic needle gun first for as long as I could.The weather was extremely cold and the gun kept freezing up and not because of lack of oil. I bought this cup wheel and put it on my new Makita 9" soft start angle grinder. What a couple, flattened out the steel with ease without worrying about what the temperature is outside. Thanks, great tools from home depot!!

I had to do a bathroom, make sure if your doing more than a 3 minute job, buy the dust shroud that hooks up to your vac. You’ll be glad you did. Doing kitchen now. Half way done and no dust

Comparatively expensive, but when buying things like bits, blades, and grinding wheels, you really do get what you pay for. I used this for grinding over-poured concrete flat, this thing worked like a champ, tearing through over an 1" in no time at all. This is more expensive, but has a lot more abrasion points than other wheels, so it cuts faster, smoother, and puts less wear on each individual abrasion point, making the tool last longer, and heat up less quickly. The wheel held up to grinding for an hour straight without any problems or loss of efficiency. Had no problems even when grinding into the odd piece of steel reinforcement by accident.

Grab a dust mask and safety goggles, and hold on! I only needed to remove (level) about a half inch of concrete for about one square foot. After about 2-3 seconds you realize that applying pressure will quickly go too deep. Entire job done in 60 seconds and smoke detectors wailing from the cloud of dust.
