It's best air flow on narrow Eave.

Only soffit vent I could find with a screen built into it to keep all bugs out

Worked out good,had to modify to fit but did just great, drilled three 2 1/2 inch holes for each one for plenty of air flow.

Our under-eave vents had not been checked in at least a decade. All were clogged. It was easier to replace them than try to clean them. We have attic fans that draw air through the vents probably 9mos of the yr so they should be checked/replaced more often. These were exact replacements, very affordable, and well-made.

Got on my ladder to do some eave painting and checked on my vents installed almost 2 years ago. The screens on the vents were intact, so no bugs, but they were completely covered with dust. Had to unscrew the vents to get access, but no big deal. Not a maintenance-free item. Maybe why my attic fan burned out since no air coming in through vents.

These vents were very easy to install and went up very quickly. Just the right size for the air flow needed.
