You used to sell the Brinkman pots, which I might say, had the turkey fryer kit AND the STRAINER basket INCLUDED, or Bailing basket as you call it and can be purchased separately for another $40 bucks and with the purchase as a gift I was very disappointed with the Quality of this product. I am very likely going to return this to the store even after one use.

This fryer worked great. We fried an 11.5 pound turkey in 30 minutes. The family was very happy with the results.

Product arrived with small dent but not to the point where it couldn't be used. That's why the 4 star. The safety timer is easy and flame will never shut off as long as you hit the red button before the 15 min limit. Deep fried 20LB turkey in it and came out amazing. Def boil some water over the burner before use, let's off awful new metal smell while doing this. Going to use it as lobster/crab/clam/corn boil/steam this summer. Hope it comes out well.

Pro - Solid stand, fantastic burner Con - 30qt pot does not distribute heat all that well. Notes - Best tasting turkey I've ever had. Did some pre-thanksgiving runs on it doing a little 8 lb turkey, and then a batch of french fries for a little gathering (like 10lbs of fries), and some chicken wings for the party as well prior to thanksgiving so I had it down pat for thanksgiving. Needless to say, 23lb turkey cooked in 1hr and 35ish minutes. ***BE AWARE*** - If you are using the entire kit (stand, burner, pot) be aware that the pot is not that fantastic at distributing heat. To acheive full tempurature of 350-375*F, you are looking at and additional 30 minutes of warming up the oil. Granted this was done at outside temps between 30-40*F, just plan additional time to heat up the oil. I have used a different pot on this since with temps in the 20's, that got to temp in about 10 minutes or so.

This was very easy to assemble and easy to use, just keep in mind it does not come with the AA battery needed for the timer/gas release. I did 4 turnkeys on Thanksgiving and they all came out perfect!!

Fired up the first two times I used it. The safety push button actually makes a lot of sense in case you walk away while the gas is on.

It was easy to assemble, the instruction for operating were a little cumbersome but when we figured it all out we are very pleased. We cooked a 12 LB turkey in the deep fryer and it was delish

I actually purchased it for my son. He was very pleased with it and said he will use it often.

Love the auto shut-off timer feature. Easy to use. Works just like the advertisements states it should.

First time deep frying a turkey and it worked pretty much as advertised. Found that the time suggested was a little too long, but turkey turned out great.

First time deep frying a turkey. This product has everything you need (minus the propane tank, oil, turkey, etc.). The only thing I found slightly tricky was the air mixture apparatus to try and get a blue flame. But it wasn't that had. And make sure you stay nearby because it will go out every 15 minutes, unless you hit the button for it to stay on. This is an annoying feature, but it's for safety's sake - so this isn't a complaint. It would be good if it gave you a beep warning or something before it was about to go out - or some way to visibly see how much time is remaining. Once or twice I was standing right there and didn't realize 15 minutes had expired, so then it's a pain to get it lit again. So I wound up just hitting the button often and it was fine. One additional note: If it's windy and you're working in a wide open space like I was, be sure to shield it from the wind, or the flame will either go out, or not fully reach the pot to get to temperature. It was a pretty windy day when we fried our bird, and I wound up putting a table up sideways as a shield...and that worked. All in all, happy with the purchase and it worked great once we got the hang of it.

Relatively easy to assemble. My advice is to read read read instructions and take your time. Product worked great and can't wait to use it again

I purchased one of the fryers, for my self, my son and a friend (3) I asked Home Depot to help obtain the basket that fits inside, but go no help, I called Masterbuilt and the will ship you the basket via UPS, yes even to Canada, thanks Masterbuilt I received my baskets today, well done!

Got this as a gift a couple of years ago. The burner is barely adequate to keep the oil hot enough to cook a turkey. The pot is so thin, the slightest cool breeze and you can watch your temp go down. The timer on the burner is ridiculous and I bypassed it prior to using it. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a good one. This is not a quality product

Although my hubby has not even opened this product we already know how great this Fryer is. My mom owns one and has allowed my hubby to Fry the Turkey for Thanksgiving for the past two years. Everytime he does it the Fryer is the topic of every conversation for at least the next three weeks, and he wants to fry everything. SO now he finally ha sone of his own!

The fifteen minute turn off switch is there for safety so that you dont walk away from fryer. You dont have to re-light the fryer each time! That would be insane! All you have to do is push in the switch when it starts to flash every fifteen minutes. Simple as that! It's a safety feature so that people dont walk away from fryer. It's very simple to use! The old fryers dont have that safety feature. This is a well built VERY easy to assemble FANTASTIC product! I highly recommend it !!!!!!!

First time used it this Thanksgiving. Very Easy to put together. Very easy to use! It is not dangerous as long as you follow instructions which are simple! Being nervous naturally, I made another turkey as back up "just in case"! 17 lbs. in the fryer and 18 lbs in the oven. The oven took 5 1/2 hours! The fryer 50 mins..... I had a family full of skeptics. EVERYONE ate the fried turkey first! When it was all gone we started to eat the other one... They are ALL still talking about it to this day!

It took about 15 minutes to put this thing together. All the parts were there which was great. Make sure you have 2 (AAA) batteries for the timer. I fried 3 turkeys in a week and had no probelms at all. The only somewhat aggravating thing is the gas shuts off every 15 minutes as a safetly so you have to re-light it a few times while heating up and cooking. Overall I was very happy with this product. I would suggest buying a basket if your going to cook anything other than a turkey.

I bought one of these Masterbuilts last year to fry 2 turkeys for Thanksgiving. Much to my amazement, the gas shuts off after 15 minutes, and you have to remove the tank from the stand, relight the burner and put the peanut oil tank back on the stand and hopefully avoid burning yourself during the relighting process. It takes about 30 minutes to get the oil to cooking temperature and about 45 minutes to fry a 12 pound turkey. It would take about 5 or 6 times to relight the burner (and avoid burning yourself) to get a turkey cooked. Needless to say, I used my old fryer because it's more convenient and safer than this piece of junk.

It works great for brewing beer. The product was as described and the price was great and the shipping was quick.
