Recently bought Whirlpool fridge and stove so now every major appliance I own is Whirlpool. Fantastic products, exception quality.

We are using it for few months and except buttons everything works well for us.

Bought this for my kitchen remodel. Looks great. Moves lots of air. Quiet on low & medium settings. Install was straightforward.

The Whirlpool 30-inch convertible under-cabinet hood came with my appliance package installed in my new home. I have always been please with Whirlpool products and this hood is great. My prior hood experiences were over the stove microwaves, so this is my first hood only application.The built in lighting illuminates the entire cooking surface and surrounding area. I like to see while I cook and this hood does not disappoint. Plenty of light for all corners of the cooking surface, and I can even see down into my deepest pots.The 3-speed fan is awesome. The high setting moves a lot of air, lifting steam and heat up out of your face. I have used the high fan setting while cleaning my oven for the first time. I was impress on how it pulled all the smells of a very hot oven out of the kitchen. Great suction! The medium speed is great for all my normal cooking including one skillet activity plus other pans. The low speed is very quiet but don't let that fool you. This quiet fan ventilates more air than it sounds, and it's great for normal baking oven activities to lift heat coming out of the oven vent. Plus I use the low setting while heating the tea kettle.I am really pleased with this Whirlpool 30-inch under-cabinet hood and recommend this to anyone that is in the market for a new hood for over the range. This hood is a pleasure to use, and I look forward to to many years of trouble free use.

The look of this vent hood is very eye catching. It is the second thing that people remark on after the aw of my new kitchen.

This is a sturdy, good product - looks great, works well, you can see the extraction in action even on low speed. Great lighting, low speed is very quiet, high speed is a bit noisy. A bit overpriced...

Unit has has nice lights and simple settings for fan.

this thing is awesome. works like a dream , its solid and was an excellent buy. i recommend Just be careful sliding it between the cabinets. the corners can scratch your cabinets if you are not careful.

Am happy with it. That said, it needs two changes to provide the sensation of quality appropriate to the price. Replace the mechanical switches with backlit soft touch switches. Replace halogen lights with LED; it's time.

PROs: nice stainless steel style, high CFM (400), halogen lighting, new style filters (dishwasher friendly); 3 speeds; on sale; free delivery and haul away. CONs: control buttons feel cheap; noisy at highest fan setting; install made difficult with undetachable side supports (contrary to install instructions - screws head slots intentially stripped?); film guard on stainless surfaces did not peel away cleanly (sometimes caught in grooves). 9" height... be careful of cooktop surface distance if using gas (should be 27")

Like other reviewers, I agree that it is a bit noisy on the highest setting, but provides very good airflow. Lowest setting is virtually silent and you may forget it is even turned-on.

The product really brings kitchens to another level in style, features, and efficiency. I replaced an over the range microwave, which was only good for collecting grease on itself and my ceiling. I love this hoods 3 speeds, it really make a difference in noise reduction, removal of cooking odors and smoke/steam. I'd highly recommend this product and the price wasn't bad either. Great value!

I have used this hood for about 3 mo. and it is great. It moves enough air that I rarely use any speed other than low. Easy to clean very Quiet on every speed except High. Lights up my cook top almost too well. You will keep your cook top clean.

Just hook-up about three weeks; its look great with my stove , easy to instal except I have to modefy my upper carbinet.

Just installed Range hood a fews days ago. Have not used much but seems to be well built and looks great. Fan a little loud on high speed, but exhaust CFM looks to be very good.

I love how quiet the first 2 speeds are. I won't need the 3rd speed till harvest time comes from our garden. No more kitchen heat and odors gathering in the corner rooms and upstairs. Ours is vented outside. It was not the easiest to install. Took 3 of us. We had some confusion in the beginning with the covering of white plastic. Actually thought it was a white rangehood, when we ordered stainless. No problem.. The white peeled off and it was a good laugh!

I searched high and low for a range hood. I cook a lot and our microhood just wasn't cutting it to remove cooking steam and odors from our kitchen. I found very cheap range hoods and ones that are over $1000 bucks. This Maytag model is just right at $400. It is stylish, powerful, and has two halogen lights positioned in the front of the hood which wonderfully illuminate the stove. I've never had such visibility when cooking. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Admittedly we had sticker shock when looking for a stainless hood with greater than seven inch depth. The depth requirement seemed to put us into "designer" world. Fortunately, we found this Maytag range hood and we absolutely love it! The lighting is just right and the three speeds come in handy. Usually, we just use the first speed and rarely the second. The lowest setting is so quiet I'm sometimes afraid I'll forget to turn it off..but it really works well. Our family has purchased Maytag products over generations and this range hood is a quality product.

Stainless Steel looks great, the unit is sturdy, the fan motor is powerful and the lighting is great (2) 50 watt halogen bulbs.
