Customer Reviews for Merola Tile Celadon Graphite 11-5/8 in. x 11-5/8 in. x 6mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile

This review is for the "graphite" colored tiles as I used two colors for my flooring project. The graphite tiles are shiny black tiles. I used them as a square border around the Celadon Aqua colored tiles. I would first like to point out that these tiles are bigger than you might expect just looking at online pictures. These are not the small square mosaic tiles that you normally see in places like shower floors. The individual squares in this mosaic are much bigger. (Nearly 2 inches.) For this reason, it would be a good choice for a medium sized bathroom floor. There would be less grout lines and bigger tiles. I compared the weight of these tiles to another 12 inch porcelain mosaic. These Celadon tiles were weightier and seemed to be of a really good quality. The tiles are textured so you may want to make sure that they are comfortable on your bare feet. I thought they were just fine. If you are using them for a shower floor, it is a benefit because it provides a bit of traction.

I used these 12" by 12" sheet tiles for the main back splash in our barn-dominium kitchen. I also used 1/4" backer board on the walls because I needed the depth but they could easily be applied onto drywall. I cut the sheets in half to make shorter 6" by 12" sheets and installed them lengthwise along the counter top and wall edges. I also used sanded bright white grout for added strength and to give them a pop. Between the butcher block counter top and wall, I used silicone grout caulk to prevent cracking. The tiles have a nice, not-overdone varied design on each tile to give them a little more interest.

These are really well made for installation and come in 12" by 12" sheets. The tiles have a varied design in the color so they make a nice statement and add a little fun to plain glazed tiles. I used these in a half bath and second on-suite bath vanity backsplash and install them with pre-mixed thinset directly onto the drywall. I also used sanded grout for a little added strength and also to form a nicer edge and hide the tile exposed edges.

I really love these tiles. The color is soft and beautiful with a great sheen. I am planning on installing it in my pantry so I can get rid of my shelf liner paper. I have done this before and it makes cleaning a breeze and looks so nice. I will be at Home Depot this weekend to pick up some mastic and grout to install the sheets. It should be an easy project that will pay dividends.

Now what a pleasant surprise, the individual small tile faces/surface sport different designs, and tactile feel.The online portrait/image does not show this feature very well. She was pleasantly surprised, surprised. The webbing is uniform, and evenly spaced. Sometimes the webbing is off centered, making it difficult to get a good square set. The nominal thickness is good, finish is great. The packing was to die for, to die for. Buy, buy. Her mind is racing with options for these tiles..

This is a unique and beautiful black tile. If you look you can see each individual tile has a different pattern giving these tiles an awesome look. I am using this in my shower remodel for the floor and cant wait to see the finished look. These tiles are of high quality you can see it just right from the look that they are well made and rich looking. This isn't your average everyday tile, its unique and different, should give you a timeless look no matter where you use it. Would make a great backsplash, wall tile etc. Love the textures on each tile, shows the thought put into the design. They are solid and heavy with a deep rich color to them.

Beautiful! I grabbed these for a project I am working on in my outdoor kitchen. I just needed some dark blue tiles in this size to fill out a few open spaces. I was very surprised to see that they have wonderful little patterns on them! I have included pictures of close up shots. While I don't have them installed yet, they appear to be sturdy, and the glazing is nice and thick.

Excellent and good looking tile

I bought this tile for a cabin we are building on our property in the forest. Celadon is my favorite color in the universe and these tiles will be perfect on the wall behind our small Scandinavian wood heat stove!

We used this as an accent wall behind a bathroom vanity. Loved the uniqueness of this green. Turned out gorgeous!

It looks very nice on the inside of upper level of the pool. It appeared easy to install.

I needed some tile to go around my stove as a backsplash, I currently have bead board and the heat from the gas burners melted it so I needed something that would be heat resistant, these tiles fit the bill and are gorgeous, each tile is different from the one beside it and they are a beautiful cobalt blue. Now I have to wait for my husband to go on vacation so we can install it, which will be next week! Yippee!
