The best part about this pipe wrench is the excellent quality overall. The jaws are super strong and the teeth are large and sharp and tough. I have two other pipe wrenches which I've had for over 30 years; I'm not a plumber but I guess they get used 4 or 5 times a year for various jobs/projects/repairs. Both have worn teeth so that's why I got this new one. What a difference; it's like I'm twice as strong; I didn't realize how important the sharpness of the teeth is.
If you have an old pipe wrench, toss it and get this one, you won't be sorry, and in fact your projects will be easier and faster. Kicking myself I didn't get this a long time ago.

This pipe wrench rates "good" in my book. The 10" length and 1.5" jaw opening capacity are good for pretty much every job around the house. The jaw adjustments are very easy to make as the collar does not bind when turned. The teeth grip the pipe great! The bottom jaw is 3/4" wide and the top is 5/8" wide. That amount of grip surface make working with this wrench an absolute breeze.
This tool is made in China.
The Milwaukee 10 inch overbite jaw steel pipe wrench is a good quality tool. The jaw can open up to accommodate 1 1/2 inch pipe and has a great biting surface on the jaws. It has a good weight to it and the collar spins easily to make the adjustments. This tool also has the open hole in the handle tip to allow you to clip or tie it onto a tool belt etc.
I knew when I ordered this wrench it was going to be a great tool, but I was shocked at just how heavy-duty this thing is - it has a lot of weight to it. The mouth of this wrench opens surprisingly wide - over four inches by my measurement, perfect for large diameter pipes. One other thing to note, and I understand most professionals won't care about this, but I love how good this wrench looks. Milwaukee did a great job with the paint job.
I have grown tired of borrowing pipe wrenches & am glad that I finally have this. Obviously, being made of steel it is going to feel solid, and it certainly is solid. The finish is great as there are no burrs or sharp edges left from the manufacturing process. It can handle up to a 2.5" pipe. The teeth grip the pipe just great and don't slip. It also has a tether loop if that appeals to you. Very good product!
The Milwaukee 14" steel pipe wrench is a great tool with good value. The wrench is designed with heavy steel construction from head to toe. Starting with the overbite jaw, it can grab pipe up to 2" in diameter. The jaw has good columns of teeth (ridges) that offer maximum gripping surface. The jaw also has inscribed measurement marker in inches. The roller (adjustment) mechanism is flexible, but not too loose. The roller is smooth and easily set with your thumb. The handle bar is entirely made of steel with the tail end slightly tapper. The shape and length of the handle provide great leverage for rotating a pipe. As always, the wrench is colored in Milwaukee's signature bright red. Overall, it is a great tool to have around the houses down in your tool box. I'm completely satisfied.
