This drill saves me lots of time. I drill about 20 3/4 x 7" a day this drill does it twice as fast as my old drill that was the same size.

Great product. Heavy duty

It did exactly what it was suppose to do. Went right through the concrete quickly!!!!

It was just average and limited features. I tried to like since majority of my tooks are from milwaukee but the Dewalt line of Rotary hammers are superior. Ended up going with cordless 1 7/8 kit superior power and comfort.

It works great wish more Homedepot Cary more bits

This is my second 13/4 milwaukee hammer drill sent the other one to be repaired 5 days ago bought this one to keep my home project moving forward drilled 20 holes 18" deep it died very disappointed.

We use this drill to Core holes for conduit, drill and tap in ground rods, and chisel out concrete. Having a high power, affordable drill saves us hours of time on the job-site. It makes our job easier and paid for itself in the first week!

Use this hammer drill for driving ground rods a little getting it up eight feet but when I pull the trigger the ground rod is done I did three sets yesterday saved my ribs from beating them in.

Milwaukee 5546-21 1-3/4" SDS MAX Rotary Hammer. Features are a 15 A motor rating, variable speed, dual-mode (rotary hammer and hammer only. There is a "Chisel" setting but it just sets the angle of the chisel edge in relation to the tool), an Anti-Vibration System and what Milwaukee calls an AUTOSTOP E-Clutch that will is supposed to prevent over-rotation in the event of tool lock up. I could never get the tool to lock up, so I don't know how well it works. The tool comes in a blow-molded case with NO bits, so after seeing that none of my SDS bits would fit this monster, I went and bought some. There is an adapter that will fit SDS bits into SDS MAX chucks, but this thing might just break the small ones. It is heavy, (21.0 lbs on the bath scale), and busts what concrete I had to demo like a jackhammer.It makes my 1" Bosch SDS look sad. I do not know how often I will use this, I am not a mason, but an assortment of breaking, coring (6"! ) drilling and digging bits are available that makes this all purpose. If you have a need, I highly recommend it.

This tool is a heavy duty commercial grade rotary hammer. You can use it to drill in concrete or block and use it as a chipping hammer with multiple different bits. This tool is fairly heavy at 23lbs but that weight can help when drill downwards. If you are drilling horizontally it can be a bit of a bear. All in all this is another great tool from milwaukee.

Okay to use at waist to knee level, above your head expect to require support. The clutch does not slip and will crank your arm around if it catches on rebar. I have used hammer drills before and this is not the easiest I've used. Will see how durable it will be, in the long run, and going to see if the clutch can be adjusted; this will turn a would be "pig" into a partially comfortable tool.

This 15 AMP 1-3/4 IN. SDS-MAX CORDED COMBINATION HAMMER WITH E-CLUTCH is a great tool! I have been a builder remodeler for 49 years, so I have a little experience in the use of tools, in fact I have a reputation of having every tool known to man! But one tool I haven’t owned until now is a big rotary hammer, as I don’t usually use one all the time. So I’ve typically rented one. But it just happened that I needed to drive some ground rods. So when I got this, it was the perfect tool for the job! When I got this hammer I was ready to drill & drive! And boy did it do the job! Power to spare, I’m not looking back! This is one awesome tool!

Wow, What a Tool! Milwaukee does make some of the BEST Tradesman Tools out there. This is One! Upon getting this I went to work demoing the small 2x3 concrete pad that was poured in a spot that just didn't make any sense. With the paddle chisel this unit cut and crushed this concrete up like butter. This unit is Heavy Duty & the whole hand grip trigger is Awesome! Bits lock into chuck very easily & there are many to choose from depending on your project. This is not a Wimpy Wimpy Rotary Hammer, this thing is a BEAST! This is for the Tradesman or a DIYer who wants a Quality Tool!

I can not praise the15 Amp 1-3/4 in. SDS-MAX Corded Combination Hammer with E-Clutch enough. I have had it for 1 week and put it to work right away. I drilled 11/4 inch holes for large bolts in my cement house foundation. I am also am using it for breaking rock on my mountain side to smooth out my walk way to the side of my home. I love the ease of chaining bits for the tool. It is a little heavy but it does not much pressure to drill or hammer drill. I would recommend this tool to anyone.

This Milwaukee 15 AMP 1-3/4 IN. SDS-MAX CORDED COMBINATION HAMMER DRILL WITH E-CLUTCH is THE best heavy duty Hammer Drill driver I have ever used. It has a 15 Amp motor, and over 8 foot-pounds impact, yet the e-clutch and Anti-Vibration system stops white knuckles. The rotary hammer option or hammer only allows specific uses, without having to hang onto the trigger. Variable speed allows correct choice of rotary speeds. The big chuck takes industrial bits. All in all a durable, easy to use and the best hammer drill anyone could want.
