Just bought 9in milwaukee grinder, why don't you supply an adapter for cutting disks

This grinder is a beast, had no trouble cutting 3/4 floor anchors. The one problem it has is that it will destroy the smaller amp batteries. I would suggest that you use at least the 8amp/hr batteries so it doesn’t overheat the battery pack

This grinder is crazy powerful. Go ahead and retire the corded grinders to under the bench. This is all the grinder you'll ever need. I have a 9 inch corded grinder (6088-30) that I purchased for the heavy duty jobs and it has been "retired" since I bought this cordless one. This thing is amazing. Finished a normally 20 minute job in about 14 minutes. With an 8.0 battery, it's not noticably heavier than the corded one and battery life is good. If you're looking for production, this is the one to get. I would recommend having a couple of the 12.0 batteries for really heavy usage but I make out fine with two 8.0 packs. The quick adjust guard is easy to use and moves smoothly. The new style locking ring allows you to leave the spanner tightening wrench in the toolbox. Milwaukee hit a homerun again with this big grinder.

It's powerful light weight runs for some time on a 8.0 or larger that I don't use the coarded grinder any more

I recently purchased a 9” cordless grinder to do some heavy work with and I was a bit skeptical at first but after 2 months of use I have put away all my corded grinders.

Very good grinder. Nice to use where ever you need to without having to drag a cord. The only thing is it's hard on batteries when using the 9 inch wheels. Wire brushes, and the 7 inch wheels are not a problem. Don't use anything under the 6 amp, or you will swap out batteries fast.

I do steel fabricating and carpentry. I already own 2 corded grinders and really wanted something battery. This grinder has tons of power and lasts a good while on a 6.0 battery.

I have a solid 12hrs of use on this grinder so far and I’m impressed with it. That said it is worth it to buy at least the 6Ah batteries or pick the kit version of this up. I chew through a 6.0 in about 20-30min of use with the grinder. 5.0 10-25min haven’t tried it on anything smaller yet. The super charger is also a worthy must in the long run to keep up battery charge with usage

All great, like the title says. Don’t know how I worked without this tool. I use it practically everyday. Safety switch could be a little more easily operated. But I have gotten used to it.

I have several M18 Fuel tools and love them. So I figured this would be a good choice to grind the concrete floor of my basement before painting it. And in many ways, it was. The tool is well-balanced, and has plenty of power to do the job. My floor looks great (so great in fact, we decided to leave it unpainted). However....it burns through batteries like crazy. I have four batteries and two chargers, so I figured that would be enough to let me work a couple of hours at a time. Wrong. Using this unit (more or less) continuously, it's important to not fully discharge the batteries, or they will overheat. Using a diamond cup wheel, a 5 amp-hour battery runs down to one bar in several minutes of (more or less) continuous use. Now I have to stop, take off my PPE (a must for concrete grinding), walk over to the charger, check to see if I need to swap anything into the chargers, and finally change the battery. By the time I run down the 4th battery, the first one will be just about recharged (if I make sure not to run it down too far). Net: I get about 30 minutes of actual grinding time before I have to stop. To summarize: Nice unit, but next time I buy corded for this type of application.

I have been using this polisher for cleaning up paint finishes on my cars. The lack of a cord has made the job so much easier. Should have gotten one sooner.
