I bought this because when i do remodels on apartment units, i got tired of taking the packout that has wheels with some tools i dont necessarily need at the moment and all the other boxes with it. This makes it soo much easier taking the stuff i NEED for that remodel. And after i drop off my tools at the unit, now i can go and stack all the boxes of part on this.

This dolly is amazing and so versatile it makes my job a lot easier

Strong as advertised. Able to take a beating and still hold up securely & weather tight. Mobility is key here, no more “missing” tools or test eq from my garage.

I received my Milwaukee, two wheel dolly, and upon opening it, I noticed that part of the plastic was cracked and broken

4 stars for two reasons - I wish the wheels were set on the outside of the cart, doesn’t seem to stead super well. I lose control of it at times. I use this cart A LOT btw. Also, trying to fold the bottom portion down is super difficult - they could have designed this differently. You basically need 3 hands otherwise it’s very difficult and awkward to break down

I use this for my own triple stack packout set up and it works like a charm. The lack of metal in the build of this product is a concern for long term use. I feel that the hanger for hanging boxes like cabinets and crates should have been higher to support the top to the cart as well as the bottom. Still works going up and down stairs. I would recommend this product but would like to see an improvement on it down the line.

I was really hopeful that this would be awesome, everything but the mounting base, axel, wheels, and top 12”ish of the handles are plastic. With my empty boxes the dolly flexed more than I was comfortable with. I feel let down, and if anyone had this item in stock, and I would have seen it… I would not have bought it.

Very handy for transferring your pack out from place to place.

Horrible havnt even used the plastic back holder for anything and plastic shattered. Cant even find a way to order a replacement completely bad design. Can find the the model number on the specs but cant order. Especially for the price should’ve been metal or aluminum.

Wish i had bought this thing earlier it is awesome. Took me forever to pull the trigger I read the reviewed and just didn’t wanna get stuck trying to return it but man I’m glad I went for it. Hauls all my boxes perfectly it does have a plastic frame but it is molded like an I-beam giving it extra rigidity plus the glass fiber reinforcement in the plastic is through the roof it’s very solid. The flex people mention in reviews is from the platform due to the fact it can be folded in there is slight movement from the play in the locking mechanism but once your rolling it is not even noticeable. The wheels are set perfectly for scaling stairs and the smooth plastic frame prevents damage too sensitive work areas such as hard wood stair treads if you so happen to slide down it will not wreck your finished work like a metal dolly . The large base platform accommodates two compact packout boxes which is great with the added bonus of increased leverage when using this cart as a Dolly it makes easy work of appliances when only one person is available. Love the storage in the back for long tools no more running to the trick to grab my level! Paired with a lifetime warranty i seriously can’t think of a reason to give this a bad review.. is it expensive? Sure all milwaukee stuff is but in my opinion is the only real job site cart available if only used for hauling gear it would be great but the fact out doubles as a Dolly is a bonus and being plastic is great when working around finished work as it’s generally “softer” then most building materials meaning less possibility of scratches and dents!

My maintenance team and i use these daily around the concrete plant. It’s a large facility and our maintenance shop is tucked away in the corner. Now we’ve got 2 rolling sets outfitted with various hand and power tools. No more sending my apprentice back to the shop to grab that wrench I forgot.

I always seem to have trouble finding a dolly to borrow the once or twice a year I need one and I'm not a fan of renting them. We are also thinking of moving soon and will obviously have a lot of use for a dolly at that point. I didn't want to get a traditional 2 wheel dolly because they have only one function and don't tend to fold flat. I like this Milwaukee packout because it functions great as a standard 2 wheel dolly. The front folds flat for easier storage, and I can add on Milwaukee packout storage boxes, containers, and tools. Honestly most of my cordless tools are a different brand, but I felt like the packout storage options were better than the brand I have. I may add the customizable boxes to hold my tools simply because this card and those options are better than what I saw from other brands.

The Utility Cart arrived fully assembled, my Packout Totes Lock into place nicely. Much nicer to move the totes on the utility cart than on the large 2 wheel base unit. Added benefit easily move 400 lbs of other item(s) as a stand alone dolly. Milwaukee got it right with this Utility Cart. And Yes, I own Two Carts and all Packout Totes are full.

PACKOUT cart by Milwaukee.... Ok, this is NOT your mother's little hand cart. This 24 inch, 2 wheel cart from Milwaukee Tool is big and bold enough to do just about any type of hauling job. Has fold-up base for easy storage, and is 11 1/2 inches at its widest point, so doesn't take up too much space when hung or left to stand alone. Has a weight capacity of 400lbs, with plenty of storage, even for long tools. There are connective products also available. 10 inch flat wheels complete the look. Recommend? YES!

There are a lot of good points about this cart. One of the best is the very large platform. Combine that with a very solid strong build, solid tires and all the utility of the packout system and this is a home run of a cart. I have a convertible cart and a large landscape cart for moving things like barrels. Those each have their good points. But this one takes some of the better aspects of those and combines them into one tool. The large lip that folds out of the way unlike my landscape cart which is fixed makes it good for all kinds of jobs but compact enough to toss in a SUV or loaded truck bed or rear cab with ease. I moved a large pot that was filled with concrete with ease on the big platform. That was always a job moving that with my cart with the smaller lip and my big one won't fit through doors. But this one made it easy since the platform fully extends under the pot. But it is still of a size that will go through a door unlike my big landscape cart. That was a real back saver since I typically had to carry this pot (which is the heavy base of a post lamp) once I got to the door. The mechanism for folding the platform is easy to operate and solid. It’s good to see some real thought put into all the ways a tool is used. That is what makes the Milwaukee line so good. And this cart is a prime example of such forethought and attention to detail.

I've invested a good bit of money into the Milwaukee packout line simply because its very well made. That said I think the price of this cart is a little high considering the amount of plastic parts versus the low amount of metal. The cart is very useful for moving large stacks of packout boxes and can double as a utility cart for moving larger items like water heaters. I do like the added feature of the level/pipe racks on the back of the cart, this is useful when hauling long levels or pipe around. As far as the packout mounts go you have one in the base which is probably the main one you'd use and one toward the top of the front where its useful for the packout crate if you don't have a lot below. I don't know why Milwaukee didn't make the base plate locking when folded up, not a huge deal as a quick twist tie could solve this but it would have been nice to add a little latch which wouldn't have taken much effort. Overall I'm very happy with the cart, just think the price could be a little lower for what you get.

Sturdy, versatile, easy rolling utility cart / hand truck. There’s always something to move. Appliances. Heavy boxes. Water heaters. A hand truck makes that much easier. Now add modular tool boxes and storage bins (sold separately) and you have far more than a hand truck! It handled moving a full-size dryer, no problem. Not surprising since it has a 400lb load capacity. The load plate is bigger than most of the hand trucks I’ve used, which made the large load more secure. I’d still recommend strapping it on (see pics) - the “I-Beam” style frame provides convenient mounting points for the straps. The 10” wheels roll easily and feel like they’re made of solid rubber. The whole cart feels heavy duty and should stand up to regular use. Full disclosure - I haven’t tried the accessory items, but can see how convenient it would be to bring tools and parts to a jobsite, temporarily remove them and use the PACKOUT to move heavy objects, then reattach the boxes and roll it all back to the truck as one unit. There’s one minor inconvenience: folding the load plate. Lowering it is easy. It folds down and snaps into place. Raising it requires pulling up on two release levers, one on each side (see pic). It’s not hard, but requires you to bend down and grab one lever in each hand. A foot release would have been nice, but probably more complicated and prone to damage, so I can understand Milwaukee kept it simple. If all you need is a hand truck then Home Depot and Milwaukee have cheaper alternatives. But if you value the flexibility then it’s worth the premium. The better name is The Milwaukee Packout Hand Truck Cart I picked up a PACKOUT COMPLETE TOOL CARRY SYSTEM when they first came out. It has, and still serves me well. This new Milwaukee Packout Hand Truck Cart is the next step for any contractor, repairperson or DIY'er that needs to haul their tools and supplies across open ground or gravel, to get to the job, needs this cart. With the larger 10 inch wheels and the metal mounting plate on the base it is the cart you have been waiting for. You no longer need to risk the wheels of your tool box or it's plastic bottom. The metal plate on this cart assumes the box on the bottom is protected while being transported. You get the added advantage of hang a box or crate from the top mount incorporated with this cart. You also have 3 lower bins incorporated at the lower portion of the back of the cart. At the top you have cut outs for either long tools such as pry bars or it will hold additional bins. All in all this cart has the features needed and the capacity of 400 lbs. It is a real can't miss.

Great all around utility cart , nice to see it was made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty. The cart was made for the organization of tools, but I personally don't have the Packout tool storage pieces and find its not at all necessary to be able to use the hand cart to its fullest. The cart has a good weight limit at 400 pounds and is made to fold up easily to under 12" wide so it can be tucked away or even hung out of the way while not in use. Its pretty lightweight and makes it easy to take with you, although the handle does not fold down - I can fit in our truck or suv no problem but its a tight fit in a car. The tires are large and easy to manage , I used it to drag some heavy rolled flooring through the yard and into a barn , tires did great on the uneven terrain of a grassy hill, and the shape of the cart made it easy to secure the load with tie downs around the back of the frame. Its a added plus that the cart has the extra storage for tools at the back.

I’m old, moving my tools around the house was such a pain!!! The packout system as a whole is fantastic! The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the cart is half plastic down the handle. If it was metal all the way, 5 stars!
