I bought the form insert to fit my Milwaukee medium red toolbox, 48-22-8424. The insert webpage at Home Depot says the height is 1.77", and my tool box is 4.5" deep on the inside, so I bought two. When the packaged arrived, there were two inserts per package so I ended up with four of the inserts. The insert is made up of 9 thin layers but only one layer between #6 & #7 separated cleanly. The rest didn't separately cleanly, although I found that the one that did meet my need on one of the two inserts. If you look closely at the photo on the Home Depot website, layers 7, 8 & 9 are slightly bigger than 1 - 6. That shows where to expect the clean layer separation. See my image to see the ragged layer separation in the lower part of my toolbox. The foam is sort of a tight fit in the toolbox, but I expected better since it is the brand name. I would have also liked the foam to be taller so that two inserts exactly fits the toolbox depth, but it is an inch short with two. I may use one of the extra two to make a third layer.

Nice metal tips but a little disappointed on the plastic handles for a Milwaukee product. I do expect higher build quality when I buy a Milwaukee product but it still gets 5 stars because of the nice details such as markings on the ends of the handles so if you look down from the top in a peg board you can see what you’re grabbing.

They work very well and it is nice that they have + and - signs on the top so you can see what they are from above.

I was pretty disappointed that the foam from Milwaukee doesn't fit their packout cases very well. They leave a large gap all around the edges. I recommend you just buy a block of kaizen foam and cut it to fit the packout cases.

I was really happy with these. The grips are nice and they felt like quality sturdy drivers. Then I had to unscrew a tough screw and I had a flathead completely sheer off. I don't know if I just produce too much torque or if there was a defect in this 1 driver. Managed to unscrew it with the longer one provided in the set. Now i have a pretty good pick at least.

Its foam, but doesnt fit well... go spend the extra few bucks and get the kaizen inserts.

The foam is fine. Warning : this foam does not fit in the large packouts that come in the original set. It is made for a 48-22-8450, a slightly smaller case. The foam would need to be trimmed down to fit in the parts cases, which are the smallest.

Great product! Super easy to cut out for your tools.

I purchased these to use as my everyday set (never can have enough screwdrivers). First impression were very well made. Soft grip handles make it easier to apply more force for torque when needed. They are all magnetic which is another plus. The only way I will need to ever replace these is if I lose one or it walks off.

Does what it is supposed to do. I have 2 m18 and 2 m12 drills in one case with these.

The screwdrivers are really good they are long-lasting and they had the magnetic tip to clean up metal shavings try them they’re not expensive like Klein tools

This is a nice screwdriver set. They are comfortable to hold and use. Here are some specifics about the screwdrivers that I noticed. • The grips have a mix of rubber and plastic which makes holding and gripping them easier when they may be wet or covered in oil. • The ends are magnetized which makes it easier to hold onto a screw that might be in a precarious position to hold with the hand. • This set includes 3-hex, 3-standars and 2-ECX which are primarily used in electrical applications. • The screwdrivers have a hole at the end for hanging on a tool board or for putting a lanyard through. • The they also have an identifier on the ends which makes it easy to grab the correct one if they are pointy side down in a tool bag. It also has identifiers on the side. I used a couple of these to screw in some loose door hardware on one of my locks. I felt like they are maybe a little nicer than the inexpensive, universal screwdrivers that I have used in the past. While maybe not as convenient, they are much sturdier. I think this would be a good set for wither the homeowner or the professional to have at their disposal.

Quality set of screwdrivers with a decent selection of sizes. I've gradually migrated the bulk of the hand tools in my large box to Milwaukee because they are built solid and I've had good luck with them and feel I can rely on them. These screwdrivers are no exception and have the typical Milwaukee quality. The grips are embedded with a comfortable tacky rubber that really assists in giving you a firm grip. I like that they are marked on the side AND on the end to indcate the tip style and size. So you can see what you are grabbing weather you have them sticking out of a bag or tote or laying on their side in a toolbox. It sure looks like someone that actually uses tools designed them. So often I look at some tools and wonder if the tool designer ever picked up a tool. With these it is clear some thought went into it. If the designers were not users of tools then they at the very least listened to those who are. The selection of sizes here will cover the bulk of the typical jobs. If you need something large or very small for a more specialized task then there are other sets for those uses too. This is the same as the 8 piece set minus the square tipped ones. For me these cover most of my needs.

This is a awesome six piece screw driver set. These screw drivers are phillips and flat heads in a variety of sizes with long necks. The handle on these screw drivers are a soft and won't hurt your hand. I never realized how beneficial a magnetic tip screw driver was until I used this set. This set will prevent you from losing screws and the soft grip will protect your hand and make your job easier and quicker.

Handles are very comfortable. Huge fan of the nice big clear symbols on the ends of the handles, so it is easy to identify the correct driver from within a tool bag. The overall construction and weight of each individual driver is nice. This is an all around kit, no specialty drivers. There are no super longs or stubby drivers. The tips of the drivers seem to be made out of a decent grade of steel, and through my abuse I did not see considerable wear to the tips. Weaker tool steals will chowder up pretty easily. My drivers are still in great condition.

This 10 piece screwdriver set by Milwaukee is outstanding! These screwdrivers are of high quality. I own a lot of Milwaukee products and they are all great tools. This 10 piece set includes a 3 inch #1 Phillips, a 1-1/2 inch #2 Phillips, a 4 inch #2 Phillips, a 6 inch #2 Phillips, a 1-1/2 inch 1/4 inch slotted, a 4 inch 1/4 inch slotted, a 6 inch 3/16 inch slotted, a 6 inch 5/16 inch slotted, a 4 inch #1 Square and a 4 inch #2 Square. All of these screwdrivers have a very comfortable handle in what Milwaukee calls a "Tri-Lobe Handles". And another feature I really like is that all of the tips are magnetic. No more lost screws! If you need some extra torque the screwdrivers shaft is designed so a wrench can be used on them. As with all of Milwaukee tools these come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. I highly recommended this screwdriver set.

This review is for the Milwaukee Screwdriver Set (6-Piece) Model # 48-22-2706, which I got a chance to check out. (There are a number of Milwaukee screwdriver sets, it’s important to make sure that the review you’re reading matches the set you’re considering). These days I'm a homeowner/DIY'er; in a past life I worked as a pro auto mechanic (cars had distributor points it was that long ago!) and before that as an appliance repairman so I have a fair familiarity with screwdrivers. The 2706 kit includes: Phillips #1 x 3 inch, Phillips #2 x 4 inch, Phillips #2 x 6 inch, flat blade 1/4 inch x 4 inch, flat blade 3/16 inch x 6 inch, and a flat blade 5/16 inch x 6 inch. Although the tools are not made in the U.S., Milwaukee offers a limited lifetime warranty and there's the standard Home Depot 90 return policy warranty. The kit comes in clear plastic packaging (see photos), there is no carrying case included. I found opening the plastic to be a bit difficult; watch out for sharp edges. The screwdriver handles are triangular (called "tri-lobe" by Milwaukee) and are very comfortable. It's not cold weather around here yet, but I don't expect them to be uncomfortable in the cold. In addition, the handles are marked on the end with a "plus" or "minus" to show whether you're grabbing a Phillips or a flat blade (see photos). That's not a major feature for me - out of habit I look at the business end of the tool to see what I'm grabbing - but the "lanyard hole" (see photos) in each screwdriver handle is absolutely a cool feature. One of the gripes I frequently have with screwdrivers is that they don't easily hang on pegboard in my shop or garage without using a screwdriver rack. These easily go on single hooks, and that's a deal for me since I recently redid the 'board in the garage and have room to hang the Milwaukee set. Of course, if you work out of a tool belt more than off a garage board, the markings on the handles would be a nifty feature, and the lanyard feature can be used to keep the tool from falling from a height rather than hanging from a peg (see photos). The blades are magnetic, which is good in most instances (maybe around sensitive electronics it's not a great feature, but the 2706 set isn't necessarily marketed for use in computer internals). The blade shafts are hex shanks, rather than round, so you can get a wrench attached if you need the extra torque. The shanks are forged, not cast, so they bring a little extra strength to the party. Fit and finish are excellent and the tools don't feel unbalanced, nor are the grips so fat that they feel overly large in my (medium sized) hand. The business ends are well formed and grab fasteners well. Back when I worked as a pro mechanic the "tool truck" offered excellent screwdrivers (at a premium price) but one gripe I always had was that the handles of that brand were black - tending to 'disappear' under the hood in dim light. The Milwaukee drivers offer their corporate red/black color scheme, which makes them more visible. In use, I'm finding these screwdrivers to be quite nice indeed. I don't have a lot of experience with Milwaukee hand tools (although I have several M12 and M18 power tools in the shop), but I'm finding their slogan "Nothing But Heavy Duty" carries forward from the power tools to the 2706 screwdriver set. I can't see any reason that these shouldn't receive 5 stars - they work well, feel good in the hand, offer a lifetime warranty, and have a competitive market price. HTH Regard, Jim

Milwaukee has made a very nice and solidly made 10 piece screwdriver set. Comfortable handles with holes (for hanging on the peg board) and wrench ready shanks are very nice, but what I really find handy are the magnetic tips. Countless times I've bobbled a screw while attempting to set up the screw. Thank you for magnetic tips Milwaukee! The tops of the screw drivers also show the configuration (flat, Phillips, square) so I can see what they are when they're in the tool belt or tool bag. The set includes 4 Slotted (6"- 3/16"; 6" -5/16"; 4"-1/4"; 1 1/2"- 1/4"), 3 Phillips (3"-P1; 6"-P2; 4"-P2; 1 1/2"- P2), and 2 squares (4"-Sq1; 4"-Sq2). Important (for me) and absent from this set are small screw drivers like 1/8 and jewelry screw drivers (for spectacle repair, thermostats and other electronics). It also does not contain any star configs which would make this a complete set. Overall a well made set and pleasure to use.

Just like everything else Milwaukee makes, these screwdrivers are built to last. They feel very solid in the hands, but not bulky or over weight like many others. The grips on these are very comfortable, and the added a bit of texture to the handle for added grip. I also love how they added a lanyard hole to each of these so I can cary them around easily. By far the coolest feature to these screwdrivers are the branded handle tips that show which type of screwdriver it is. The slotted screwdrives have a large white line, the Phillips head had a large plus symbol, and the square heads have a square symbol. This makes it much easier for anyone that may have a vision problem, or uses a screwdriver holder that keeps them pointed downward. The hex shank is a great idea as you can use your wrench to tighten/loosen any stubborn screw with ease. The hardened tips are also extremely strong and will last a life time. The only reason I dropped a star is becaue Infelt that the magnetic tip was a bit weak, that that is the only thing that I could find lacking with these Milwaukee screwdrivers. These are definitely pro grade screwdrivers, and will hold up to any job you throw at them.

Milwaukee screwdriver set A great fundamental baseline set of screwdrivers. This set has a good range of sizes. You get four flat screwdrivers: a long 6” 3/16” tip driver, two ¼” tip drivers (1-½” and 4” long) and a bigger 5/16” one that is 6” long Then there are four Phillips style drivers: Size P1, 3” long and then three of the standard P2 drivers 1-½”, 4” and 6” long. Rounding out the selection are two square drivers, SQ1 and SQ2, both 4” long. Thought has gone into their design. All of them except the small flat driver have hexagonal shanks which allow one to attach a wrench to add additional torque to the workpiece. The tips are blackened and magnetic. The handles have holes with which one can hang them up. The top end of the handles indicate the shape of the tip. This is so important when the drivers are sitting in a rack and you need to grab the right one the first time. Handles are comfortable with a three sided shape. Limited lifetime warranty. Good tools make jobs better and easier, and every workshop needs a good set of screwdrivers. These will not disappoint. Made in China.

Milwaukee Tools are known to be great tools, and this set is no different. The handles are very comfortable in your hand, and the shape of the handle lets you put some power behind the turn without it hurting your palm or feeling like it will slip in your hand. The tips are precise and don't have a tendency to climb out of the screw head like some others I have used.

I lost a set of this screwdrivers. The perfect replacement for my tools cabinet.
