Very happy with this compost, which is relatively reasonable and does the job.

bought some of this product last year and found pieces of plastic, glass, and other random pieces within the compost. I tried it again this year along with Natures Care soil but more of the same, I have to sift before I put it into my garden beds because there is just so much plastic and glass which makes me question how much junk is going into these compost piles

My plants are growing much faster and are healthier.

Very rich compost and decomposed nicely with no sticks or other large chunks of debris. Perfect for my flower pots.

I use this every year, along with mushroom compost to help condition my very clay garden soil. It has worked miracles.

Lots of wood chips, we did find some corn seeds as well, disappointed in the price hike.

Having been soured by most soil amendments from Scott's/Miracle Grow, I had stayed away from the brand for the most part of the last 5 years. I saw this and thought that I would give it a try. My mistake, like most of their product (at least in California), this is a horrible mix of plastic, metal, glass, treated wood and other various trash with some added soil amendments and fertilizer. Yes, it smells like chemically treated sewage sludge (or the residue you would remove from the rain gutters). Unfortunately since Scott's took over the brand, it has been the most vial trash presented as a more green option, OK if spreading someone else's trash on your soil is green! I would not even recommend this to people I don't like let alone anyone with a conscious. DO NOT BUY IN CALIFORNIA!

The worst compost I have ever use hangers. They put full size wood chips they are clearly not broken down in. It’s more like the mulch than anything else. Do not waste your money. Big regrets For buying this product

The compost is primarily woody material. (I got splinters using it.) It doesn't seem to be a good blend of organic matter.

It's hard to tell yet. I just started using it on potatoes, tomatoes and peppers. I will let you know.

I garden and typically buy several bags of different amendments. I figured I would mix in a few bags of this "really good compost" to check it out. Honestly....I expected if I paid 3 times more than typical it should indeed be really good....not really....there were quite a few sticks etc. My guess would be the process was rushed a bit...Im not saying its bad - Im sure it will do what its supposed to....Im just saying it does not appear to be better than the $3-$4 bags. If it was called "average" or "not so bad almost composted compost" I would probably have given 3 or 4 starts. But when you say "really good" in the title...well....there is an expectation. In my situation that expectation was not met.

Great product. No bad odor and the plants love it.
