the backing rips off the adhesive when it gets hot
It's 80° out and I kept the tape in the shade when wasn't using it, but I still had a lot of trouble getting the backing off. It would come off for a few inches, and then get stuck and rip half an inch of adhesive off before it peeled off. When I had to work with it in the direct sunlight, it sticks so bad that you have to fight to get it off, and it rips ton of adhesive off in the process.

Does not stick
Ive never had problems with flashing tape until using this product bubbles up in 24 hours in 80 to 90 degree temps. Usleess in my application. Waste of money and does not protect your investment.

Weekend WAR.
Replacing a garage security light when I noticed that the fascia wood was rotted under the metal covering. Instead of getting pretreated lumber or some type of water sealant for the new wood I went with this. Looks good holds and should last

Worked perfect during the install. Used for windows. The temp at install was about 85F. Used a j-roller on every bit of it. 15lb tar paper was used for the wrap, and the tape adhered to the tar paper very well. It’s been on for two weeks so far (waiting on the siding to arrive), and there has been no peeling/rolling back. My biggest concern with it is wether or not it is self healing. Most tapes say if they are. I contacted Nashua, and they could not tell me. I would and will buy it again. The width and length that it comes in was ideal for me (large windows).

Extra protection around window
I applied this around all the windows before the exterior sidings are installed. I applied this onto the window fins (plastic or aluminum material) and the house wrap only. Not sure how well it would be on bare wood or other building material. I follow the order of application on the package for proper lapping. It is hard to start the peel but otherwise very manageable.

I used this product on 2 parts of my deck. First is on top of my deck beam to keep water from sleeping between the three 2x12's that make my beam. The joists sit on top of this product.
The second place is behind a gutter attached to the deck beam to keep splashes off the beam. I hung metal roofing under the joists to make a dry space, thus the gutter for run off.
This tape is easy to apply and works great! If you are building a deck or updating windows I would recommend this product.

I have no idea of what it'll be like in 10 or 20 years, but I know that the release film on the back didn't want to release. It was an absolute pain to apply.

Do not Buy
This tape should not be on the market. It is extremely difficult to get the backing off, to the point I thought it was defective and I needed to return it. I even put it in the freezer for a while since it appeared that the adhesive was like tar when trying to remove the backing. After finally getting the backing of and installing and rolling it, within one hour the tape was bubbling and coming free from clean, new plywood. This tape is junk, do not buy.

Only negative is how hard it is to peel the backing but that’s the same for all of these tapes.

Nashua flashing tape had a "meltdown". The tape became unusuable & any attempt to peel back the paper backing ended up in a gooey mess of what appeared to be melted "tar"!? I returned the tape because it was useless; the tape backing should easily tear away. The company CEO should be acutely aware of these types of product problems?
