The size is good for a garage. Had to remount the fan bracket for fan blade clearance. Might have been dropped during shipping. Applied heat,(heat gun ) to the power cord to get it to relax and hang against the wall.

I am really enjoying this heater. On a 20 degree morning it only takes 30 minutes to bring it up to 55 or so.

Warms the garage around 12 degrees in 30 minutes making it completely usable in the cold.

I live in Pittsburgh and I use this to heat my garage when I want to work in there. When it is sub zero degrees outside this will heat my 2 car garage into the 70's in less than 30 minutes.

purchased heater to take the chill out of the basement from time to time. It does a good job, had to have an electrician install a 240 plug, and I do notice a substantial increase in my electric bill if I run it for any length of time. But nothing is cheap in this world we live in, and if you want comfort, you must be prepared to pay for it. I would recommend the heater. My son and my electrician both have this heater...............

It woks very efficiently

The heater heats up a 2-car garage to a comfortable temp (65-70 degrees) in about 30 min. We have had the heater for about a month and are very pleased with it. It doesn't feel hot to the touch. An amazing amount of heat comes out of this small heater. There is no thermostat, but you can set the automatic fan to stop blowing once the garage is at a comfortable temperature. It requires a special outlet which we had an electrician put in.

The only negative on this heater that I use for my attached unheated garage because it's my son's bedroom and we have had below zero temperatures and it still worked after hanging up some tarps and it still working good but now it's making noise because we did not receive any instructions on how to clean the heater so the only negative is it did not come with any cleaning instructions so if someone could help me with that that be nice thank you

Liked: the all metal construction. Had the proper plug wired before arrival. This thing puts out the heat. Dislike: No separate on/off switch. Thermostat switch is weak point on this unit. Should be easy to replace.

HEATS 560 SQ FT, not the 800+ I read at first. I added the proper nema 6-30r receptacle, and wired the receptacle to an additional 240v 30amp breaker. The heater makes periodic sounds, but I have only been using for a few days. Heats up my two car garage quickly. More efficient than two 110v electric heaters that would not require this additional outlet install.

Has kept my 24 × 24 garage comfortable even with 3 days below 0 degrees. Has met all my expectations and then some.

Thought this would be THE GIFT for my garage monkey partner. Turns out it requires higher voltage outlet. My partner is an electrician and tried to make it work in our house, but the breaker panel could not be converted without replacing the entire thing. Why didn't Newair make this big pre-requisite obvious?

Heats my 3000 cubic foot garage (about 400 Sqft) from 45 to 62 in 10-15 min. It is easily portable, and includes the plug (which was the important part for me). Finding something this powerful that I didn't have to hardwire, for this price, was by far better than any other option. Some seem to mind the lack of an on/off switch. I don't mind at all. By keeping it on "auto" and the dial turned all the way down when not in use, it keeps my garage from freezing and stays off most of the time. If I wanted to turn it off even when it drops below 45 degrees, I simply unplug it. Turning it to halfway gets me to the low-to-mid 60s pretty quickly. This is a steal at this price. Very pleased.
