The tips are not cut straight. I assumed they ate so I made a perfect cut to my spec which ruined my project. Had to by a different lumber. I assumed home depo won't accept a return after it is cut inti pieces. I never thought a professionally sold piece of board would be crooked.

Composite fascia board is overmolded with the walnut color over a composite core. If the outer layer is gouged or dinged, exposing the lighter core, repair may be needed. Otherwise product should perform well. In high solar areas, sun fade may be an issue.

The material worked great and looks great. I wish that the fascia came on longer lengths though.

Went on like a breeze!!

This stuff warps so easily and quickly it is ridiculous. If it is screwed down it's probably fine but for the project I needed if for, it could not be screwed down and it warped and cupped badly.

I cannot understand why a simple color listing is so complex. I wanted 12" black fascia to match my black composite rails. I found the closest thing at home depot to be HAWAIIAN CHARCOAL. Alas, there were none in stock so I could not actually see the color. I ordered these boards, looked at them in the store and returned them before I left the store because I wanted black...simple black. not chartreuse, fuchsia or another odd color made up by some odd marketing scheme. But to be fair, the return was a lot easier than the purchase. As for the craftmanship qualities of the boards, I cannot comment.

Great color and grain patterns. One side has a modern look and the other more traditional. Super easy to work with in terms of drilling pilot holes, sinking screws and hammering down the surface flat after countersinking. So far rain and debris are no problem.

We put this on our deck which now looks great. Very easy to install.

Used the product in not the usual fashion: for table tops at our outdoor "kitchen". I worked with 2' and 4' pieces having less the the 16" on center 2x4's. the material was easy to work with with the caps being very important to the finished "look".
