These work amazing. We had our deck was finish with no railing And we decided to put a railing on so we had no post and it was all enclosed, so we decided to try these tried one first and it was amazing so we ordered more and we finished our deck it looks beautiful. They are sturdy and work very well.

It looks great! Just make sure that you use multiple anchors to secure it. They have 5 holes that you can use.

I've worked with post attachment products before, but none that matched the strength and appearance of these. Installed 8 posts and rails around a deck, and this made the entire system very secure. Would have helped to have had lag bolts for the base, but I had an entire box left over from my last project so it wasn't a major issue. When you use blocking below the deck, and install these as instructed, they form a very strong and good looking support. I installed all of the base plates, then went back and installed each post. The best part is, even if you aren't working with nominal lumber, these can adjust to meet the size of your posts. And very little leveling is required, since the base does a great job of truing up your work.

These brackets were the perfect solution to me wanting to mount wood 4x4's to our concrete patio. Very simple and easy design but also decorative. We used 1/4" tapcons to secure it to the concrete. The railing is very sturdy, impressive design.

This is an excellent product,; what makes it is that I had an uneven concrete surface. The design compensates for this the way it is engineered. My posts were perfectly vertical and absolutely solid. It did exactly what I hoped it would do, and I am not an easy individual to satisfy.

Cons: I had to go to their website for installation instructions and a few side brackets were difficult to insert over the base tab due to incorrect sizing. The tabs were either to big for the slot to fit over or too lose and resulted in a lose fit of post installation. Pros: The kit is very impressive looking and well made with galvanized steel and powder coating. The functionality ideal is superb. With 2 weeks of my fence and gate installation, it's held up wonderfully and I've received many compliments.

The post kit was used to anchor a 4x4 post to our deck to hold a hose reel. The base was easy to anchor to our deck with 5 bolts. The four individual side plates snapped onto the base and are then attached to the post by 2 bolts in each plate. Overall, the post is solidly anchored to our deck, plus the post kit looks good.

Loved the added look to my new cedar posts.

When putting the side plates on the base, they do not want to go on. After beating them with a hammer they finally go.

They are only as good as the 4x4 they are used with. I had 3 4x4 posts that were bad and the screws stripped out so they didn't hold right

These worked great. The price at Home depot was even less than online companys.

We haven't installed the brackets yet but are very impressed by the quality. We will be using them on an inside staircase giving it a rustic look.

Very expeufor just a decorative piece I only needed two but wouldn’t have bought for a bigger project I’d fabricat myself for pennies on the dollar

Wood ties looks great! Very happy with them.

Very strong, easy to use, and attractive. Do note that the bolts included are only for putting the "sides" onto the post... you will still need other bolts to attach the base to your surface. (I'm assuming these are not included because it can be used on many different surfaces.)

This is what happens when engineers either don't work with the product or simply are trying to make something look nice. I have used both variants of the 4x4 post brackets and while they look nice neither hold the posts solid. There is play in every direction. For the price and the lack of stability I can not see why store would carry this product. Its unsafe and twice as much as other products. I would be surprised if it actually meets building codes.
