[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have LOVED using this product! I do a lot of wood projects and it has come in handy for them! I love the fact that it goes on so easily. It does take a bit of time to dry completely, so if you are wanting to do a project, make sure you give yourself time to let it dry. I also love that you get up to 350 square feet per gallon to use! This is awesome because big projects take up a lot of this. Another thing I love is that it can protect a deck for up to 4 years or a fence for up to 6 years! It also covers up old stain too when you apply it, which is nice. But you should make sure to prepare the area you are wanting to stain, so that it is a smooth process. It can look a little off if you don't. So make sure the surface is clean and dry. Then you just add the stain and let it dry! It is amazing what a world of difference this product makes to a project. It makes it look so much nicer, and keeps it protected! I honestly love this product. I talk highly about it. I think everyone should give this a shot, especially if you have a nice deck or fence you want to keep protected for a long time! You will not regret it. It was very easy to apply, went on smoothly whereas some water shields are either messy or start to dry and get sticky too quickly. After two weeks and East Tennessee rain, humidity and normal use, the deck still looks brand new. I'm very impressed with the durability, the quality and the results. I have full confidence we will get years of use from this deck and the WaterGuard extended the life of the planks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to wait for a cooler day, but as soon as I could I got out and used Olympic WaterGuard Semi-Transparent on my deck! We love spending time out on the deck, so it's important to us to care for it because we want it to last. Applying it was easy and the results were nice! It's semi-transparent, so you still get the nice grains of the wood to show through while protecting it.

It was easy application and the finished product looks great! It’s smooth looking and has a nice finished outcome. A little bit goes a long way as well. We were able to do two deck floorings with less than two containers and our back porch is quite large! Definitely will continue to buy this stain in the future for reapplicaitons!

My porch soaked up the first coat instantly but after about 3 coats it looked amazing. Takes a little bit of time but minimal effort. The results are great and my porch looks brand new.

It was easy to open, mix, and roll into the wood. Kept the grain noticeable and went on without an issue. Would highly recommend!

The directions were easy to understand. I'm sure any beginner could use it. After being, it looks fantastic and I feel like it will hold up to any type of wear and abuse.

I received this, and we just used it to cover the house. It looks great! Im so happy with how it turned out. It added a light shine to my house and I feel confident that my hone is weather proof again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product a few weeks ago to complete my wood deck project. I couldn't be happier with it. The product glides on smoothly and evenly. I used 2 coats to protect the wood and already I am pleased to see the rain bead on the wood. I chose to go colorless and I am quite happy with the look. The WaterGuard has added just a hint of sheen to the wood that almost seems to make the wood glow. It looks great!

I only had a few boards to stain, so I bought the small aerosol can product. Terrible! Much like the other review...it's not drying!! I finally went out and rubbed it down with a cloth to get some of it off in hopes it will dry.

I bought this for a simple project. The stain looks good but never fully dried. If I rub my hand over the wood, I get brown stain on it. Olympic will only replace the cans I used but not the wood it this stain messed up. I followed the directions and even tried drying it both outside and inside. Olympic tried a few loopholes to say maybe I didn't apply it right. Overall, bad product. Bad experience.
