The Orien 70W Corn Cob Bright White Bulb is excellent! Replacing my old LED flood bulb with The Orien helps make my wife feel safer coming into garage from work at night. There's no waiting warm up time with Orien bulbs like my old flood bulbs and cast a wider range of illumination as soon as you flip the switch on. Not only am I satisfied with choosing Orien LED bulbs for their brightness but also for their eco-friendly and economical money saving features. I wonder if Orien makes LED bulbs sized small enough for garage door openers?

The Orien 70W Corn Cob Daylight Bulb is AWESOME! I replaced my old LED flood bulb with The Orien to help brighten my garage while I work in there. The magnitude of the illumination is magnificent! There's no waiting warm up time with Orien bulbs like my old flood bulbs. It's instantaneous DAYLIGHT BRIGHT as soon as you flip the switch! Going to purchase another one for my patio to replace the dull LED out there now.

This is my first use of an LED "Corn Cobb" style bulb. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. I'm very impressed. 2300 lumens is super bright - see picture comparing outdoor lighting with this 18 watt LED bulb to a standard 100 watt incandescent bulb. Definitely "whiter" light and lights up a much larger area of my yard. The box includes an installation instruction sheet with the following useful facts: 1) Suitable for Wet Locations 2) Minimum temperature rating is -4 Deg F. (a bummer for outdoor use in colder climates). and 3) details on how to remove any Ballast, Capacitor, or Ignitor from your fixture (in my case this didn't apply). Bulb is fairly large: 2.5 inches wide (diameter) and about 6.75" long. I put this in an indoor floor lamp and the tip of the bulb extended above the top of the fixture. I plan to use in my garage or attic given the low temperature restrictions.

This is a very bright Bulb. I put this in my storage closet to replace a incandescent bulb and it made a vast difference. This Bulb is rated at 2300 Lumens, the equivalent of a 70 watt bulb ,with only 18 watts of energy used. The Light appearance of this Bulb is 5000K, which is on the cool side, towards the Daylight brightness level. It really made a difference in lighting up the area. The Bulb is long and that helps project the light. The Bulb is rated to last 45.6 years, the Bulb will out live me, and I’m sure the new owner of this house will like it as well.

okay fist you need to understand what takes an HID bulb. That being said this was perfect for the light that comes with the electric garage door opener. It is very bright and now I can see at night in my garage if I need to look for something. Also it came with a socket base adaptor to convert the E26 base to EX39 base. It is very large so you need to understand not only the wattage but what lights you can use these types of bulbs for.

wow.very large very bright "bulb." when you take it out of the sturdy packaging you don't recognize it as a bulb. You need to understand what type of fixtures you can use this for given the powerful wattage and the large size of the bulb. This is not for your typical lamp. I am using it in the utility fixture in the basement ceiling but I then had to remove the plastic outer cage that predicts the standard bulb.Very bright and cool!

Honestly when I picked the Orein 250-Watt equivalent HID LED Daylight Light Bulb I thought it was for an indoor table lamp. Instead it is much larger and much more powerful. It uses only 54 Watts and is like a 250 Watt metal halide light bulb. One of these LED HID replacement lamps produces 7490 Lumens and is rated to last 50,000 average life hours. It is enclosed and is damp rated for use both indoors and outdoors. You can use it base up or down, in my case the base is down. It also comes with an E26 base for Commercial use. I didn’t need that part. It is an energy-efficient alternative to traditional High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide lamps. The advertising says the color temperature is 5000K daylight. It is made of plastic and is a corn cob shape, the bulb diameter is 3.66 inches. I live in the foothills and I have a 3 ½ car garage so I decided to use this Orein Daylight HID LED replacement bulb in there. After deciding where I needed the most light I climbed the ladder and I screwed the bulb into my switched light socket on the right side of my garage. When I turned it on, Wow just Wow. I have never ever had that much light in my garage. It is truly amazing. I’m shocked. It is just like daylight inside my garage. The advertising is spot on. I now have enough light to do my large projects in my garage instead of in the house. I love that it is LED and will use much less electricity than a traditional bulb. I took pictures of before and after and you can easily see the difference in light in my garage. This Orein LED light bulb has a 5 year warranty. I am completely satisfied and I think that I am going to get another Orein bulb for the left side of my garage. I currently use other Orein outdoor LED light bulbs in my back yard. Orein makes a large variety of bulbs for indoor and outdoor use.

Having seen "corn cob light bulbs" in the store before, I thought that ordering them would be a non issue - boy howdy did I think wrong! These light bulbs are MASSIVE! They were supposed to go in our garage overhead light fixtures to give my husband more clear "daylight" hued lights for working at his work bench. I know that if I had seen an actual description of the bulbs, I never would have ordered them. On the upside to this tale, I did get to examine and explore what a heavy duty light bulb looks and feels like! These bulbs are lacking nothing in their build quality. I mean they are seriously some high quality light bulbs!

If you're looking for a bright light you found it. This is an LED light that uses 54 Watts but it is equivalent to a 250 Watt bulb or 7000 lumens. It is very heavy duty made in fact I’m a little surprised how heavy it is. It comes standard with a E26 socket which is your normal household light bulb socket size. For example a 100 Watt bulb. However if you wanted to use it in a commercial setting such as a street light it also comes with an adapter and you can enlarge the fitting to an E39 which is the standard size socket for a street light Mercury bulb. There are several obvious reasons to purchase an LED light. It has a 50,000-hour life span and it is very inexpensive to operate. This particular light will cost you approximately $6.50 to operate for an entire year. One of the most unique things about LED lights is that they're directional or their beam is focused. That has its pluses and minuses of course. However, when you have this type of bulb as seen in the picture below it had so many tiny LED’s that even though it is directional it fills the entire room. But because the light beam from an LED light is directional it's capable throwing the light much further. The LED lights are not only on the sides but on the bottom as well. This allows it to light the room or an outside area in all directions.

I have one outdoor light that uses the large screw in socket, I think that’s called the EX39. This LED light comes with the adapter to go from the medium base to the large base type. Perfect fit and easy to install. I replace my halogen bulb about once a year. Hopefully this one will last longer. According to information included, this light fixture is rated for 50,000 hours and only uses 27 watts for about 3,500 lumens. Sort of an odd design but it does give off some nice light. If you have a short style open bottom globe, this light will probably stick out a little at the bottom. I have a longer globe and the light is fully concealed inside. If it lasts, its well worth it.

I wanted to get a light that would generate a lot of light at night to help reduce the chance of someone wanting to come in the property. I have a motion sensor light and tried to install it on the motion light but the neck was not long enough. I got a ground lamp and put near the deck of the house. This ended up working pretty well. The brightness was excellent. As seen in the picture it created a halo around the area. I could see all around the area with ease. This is 5000 lumens and it really is bright.

Our living room space is rather dark even with 2 existing 100+ watt bulbed lamps. The OREIN 175-WATT EQUIVALENT ED28 HID LED LIGHT bulb was much larger than expected. The LED bulb fits our lamp only because our lamp does not have a hoop type shade. The light is VERY, VERY bright with LED's on top, which floods light up on the ceiling and around it's perimeter! If you have a strong need for more light, this is the light bulb you need to buy.

For my particular needs this bulb was the answer. I have 14ft ceilings in my shop/garage which means a ladder every time my door opener shakes a bulb to a early failure. So annoying to replace bulbs every couple months. The 100watt version is super bright and economical compared to earlier bulbs. Light coverage is great with design and bulb is rated for most interior and exterior applications with damp rating. Overall great investment.

Wow, this light is bright. A little bigger than I thought it was going to be. Makes the backyard look like its daylight. This light is great installed vertically or horizontally. if going to be installed over 15ft may want to test it in both positions to see how the light is projected in the area you are trying to light, the sides are definitely where most of the light is provided. Make sure to use a slightly heavier fixture for this light as it is a bit heavier than most as well. Good top use inside or outside, NOT compatible with dimmers.

When ordering this Orein 100 Watt equivalent ED28 HID LED light bulb in daylight, you maybe wondering how bright it will be and what it will work with. It comes with a separate socket that's bigger than a standard light socket for using in a different light fixture. I used it just as it came out of the box for my garage light fixture.It is very bright and I will be getting others to make the garage even brighter! You can bypass the ballast in other fixtures to wire this direct and it will work just fine as a retrofit. Give it a try and you wont be disappointed. The pictures are the before and after of just changing 1 light bulb in my garage.

If you need a really, really bright light, I mean like 5000 kelvin bright white, that you can't stare at it for more than 5 seconds, this is it. Please see the picture below. This bulb is 8 inches overall and hits the scale at 1.56 pounds. It is hard to believe this only uses 27 watts but kicks like a 100 watt HID ( High Intensity Discharge) bulb, and produces 3510 Lumens. While this utilizes a standard E26 base an E39 socket base adapter is included so it will fit the larger HID lamp holders.This has 16 LED'S just in the end of the bulb.Then 5 rows of corn cob LED's with 16 in each row for a total of 96. It will operate btwn. 120 and 277 volts. No it is not dimmable. It's pricey but look what you get, and will last 50,000 hours, 5.7 years of continuous use. You have to see this bulb to believe it.

This 150 watt equivalent bulb certainly appears to be the latest and greatest in illuminating technology offered in today's market. What's particularly nice is that it is compatible with both residential and commercial fixtures because Leedarson America provides an adapter for an X39 base. The only drawback really is its size, it's huge. It's about 9" tall and 3.5" wide. That means it can only be placed in very large fixtures. On the "bright side," it can be placed in enclosed spaces both indoors and out.

Wow - this is a serious light. The massive size and array of LED's put out some legit light. The body is well built and you can see everything is sealed against the elements. Be sure you double check the sizing. This sits just proud of the fixture I got this for and while it's not a big deal I personally don't think these are the most handsome 'bulbs'. That being said I'll take the trade off of light output, power consumption, and longevity any day.

This is an absolutely awesome and bright light bulb you screw into a normal 110 volt light socket. The light speads out 360 degrees and also below. There are small LED strips all around it alone with some on the bottom of the bulb. Excellent white light but don't stare at it because it is a bit blinding. I use this in my garage workshop and a larger one, 175 watt, at my lake house garage.

If you are looking for a bulb to brighten a large area in bright white light with no effort the look no further than this bulb. It is rather large, you can not fit it inside a globe or anything, but it does screw into a normal 110volt light socket. Very bright. Don't look straight at it though, it is too bright to look staight at it. I use it in my garage workshop I am building.

It is a little bit smaller, and produces a little less light, but at the same efficiency - 130 lumens per watt - as the bigger version. It is very bright, solid, extremely high efficiency LED Bulb that works with both medium base (normal household shape, E26) and large mogul base (industrial shape, E39) - it comes with a well made adapter. It works on both household 120 volt circuits and higher voltage (industrial) circuits up to 277 Volt. It has a 5000K color temperature (daylight) I installed one of these and one of the 54 watt (250 watt equivalent) and my garage is as bright as outside now! I looked up the lighting guidelines and 750 lumens per square meter is at the top end for teaching laboratories, commercial kitchens, and workshops - that is what I was going for in my workshop/garage! A typical 450 square foot garage would need about 31,500 lumens total (well distributed) - that is 5 or 6 of these bulbs. I put two in, and have some older 100 watt equivalent LED's I will use to make up the difference. It comes with a standard medium base, and a heavy duty adapter to convert it to a large mogul base. The package also says it can run at multiple voltages - the usual 120 volts in household lighting and industrial lighting up to 277 volts. The individual LED modules are visible in rows up and down the sides, and on the round end.

The Orein 100-watt equivalent ED28 HID light bulb in daylight is the future of light-bulbs. This energy efficient and environmentally friendly bulb is equipped with the regular E26 base found on most house-hold bulbs. It also has a EX39 base converter included in the box. This bulb will fit most lamp sockets in every home. I used it in my Den where there was no light and it brightens up the entire place. Very easy to use, just screw the base to the bulb socket and its ready to be used and also, that makes it easy to replace. Absolutely happy with this bulb and very likely to purchase more as I plan to use it round my house for security purposes. It is very bright and great for every home to have. I am happy with this product.

Oh man is this light bright! This light is amazingly bright and fills a room with light. It is more on the cool-white spectrum and less warm white like an incandescent bulb. I used this bulb in my attic that is about 500 square feet and has stacks of stuff all over, but only one light bulb in the middle of the room. With this light there are almost no shadows! The light does come with an adapter to fit the larger bulb sockets, too. I highly recommend this bulb to anyone looking to light a large room or replacing the giant bulbs that are used in the light fixtures in gymnasiums that need 10 minutes to warm up; yes, they're that big and bright!

Do you need to light a BIG space but don't want to rewire your old fixtures? This huge bulb is it. Over 7020 lumens in bright white 5000K light! It fits a standard light bulb socket, no rewiring needed. It comes with an E39 adapter for the larger E39 outlets as well. Awesome! This can also be used in older style overhead light fixtures, you just have to disconnect the ballast in that fixture first. I have these in the garage to replace 100 watt incandescent bulbs. I get 4 times the light from each bulb and use only 54 watts each. It rocks! Dimensions of the bulb are: 10 inches Tall with base, 11.5 inches with E39 adapter. Just under 4 inches wide. There is a short delay when you flip the switch and then the light comes on, full brightness from the start. No warm up period like CFLs. Works even in super cold temps. This makes working in the shop so much nicer. Having these bulbs ten feet up in the rafters lights up the garage like a basketball stadium. You can install this indoors or out, it's listed as waterproof and will operate on regular 120 up to 277 volts. It is NOT dimmable. They give it a 50,000 life span and a 3 year warranty. Easy to install, long lasting and low power draw makes this a winner. I'd recommend it.

I'm always on the look out to save money any where I can. One easy way is to buy the most energy efficient light bulbs possible and hope they last long enough for them to pay for themselves over and over again. So, when I saw the Orein 175-Watt Equivalent ED28 HID LED Light Bulb in Daylight available, I grabbed it and placed it in my Home Depot cart immediately. Well, unfortunately, when it arrived I was very disappointed. In my quick haste, I failed to fully read the description of this HID LED bulb. It's huge, about 10" long and maybe 3.5" wide. I bought it hoping that it would help illuminate my family room that has no overhead lighting, and when I placed in a corner lamp, it really did a great job. However, it's so large it sticks out from behind the shade and looks ridiculous. So, all though the Orein 175-Watt Equivalent ED28 HID LED Light Bulb in Daylight works great and seems to be well built, it is not your typical light bulb and can only be used in very large fixtures inside or out.

The Orein 175-watt LED corn cob style bulb is incredibly bright providing 5850 lumens in 5000K (daylight). The LED light provides 360 degrees of coverage and is rated for indoor/outdoor use. The bulb possesses the standard E26 household light base, but also came with a E39 large mogul screw adapter base. The estimated energy cost for the bulb is approximately $5.42. The LED bulb is about 9” long and very bright. This is a bulb that I intend to place in an outdoor security/guard light. This is a nice product.
