Not worth the 5 cent bottle it comes in.
I have a 3’x15’ area I’m trying to keep as bare ground. I sprayed everything with grass and weed killer, worked great. Pulled out everything so the ground was barren and figured I would throw this on for extra protection. A week after spraying I’ve got a bunch of weeds popping back up. Product does not work at all.

Ortho Ground Clear does not work.
I purchased the 1 gallon Ortho Ground Clear Weed & Grass Killer. The wand did not work properly and I had to fight with it just to get it to work. After using the entire gallon on a very small area last week, not a single weed or blade of grass has died. The Product DOES NOT WORK. I am extremely disappointed.

Not a quality product
Even in direct sun with no rain this product is terrible and does not fully work, I rake the area to expose weed roots and apply it strong 2-3 times in the same area and the weeds just keep growing back the following season, I'm so sick of buying this 2 gallon concentrated now $50 and wasting my money, stupid me I use it for years and never complain, well now I am finally tired of paying for a product that does not work as advertised.

Ground Clear does not work!
I followed the instructions exactly. A week after application: 1) The weeds between the pavers were still growing, with no sign of the application. 2) The weeds along the fence and borders were thriving. 2) The test spot I did no my grass showed no sign of the application. 4) A month later, still no sign that I had used this product.
Application was on the east coast of sounth Florida, 10 miles inland, in June, July, and August. I used a total of one gallon of concentrate. 24 oz/gal mix.

Worthless! Kills nothing.
Mistakenly thought this was concentrated version of ortho groundclear weed+grass killer, which I have used before and it works well. This is ortho groundclear yearlong, a totally different product. I diluted it as directed. Some weeds were slightly wilted, others no effect at all. I repeated application three days. Almost all the weeds are still there. $50 bucks-a complete waste of money.

READ THE LABEL! 24 FL OZ PER GALLON OF WATER!
I'm an idiot for not reading the label before purchasing. It takes 24 fl oz per gallon of water! That equates to being very expensive. Not sure why they sell it in a 32 oz container. Time will tell if it will truly last all year. Besides the cost, this stuff also leaves a white bleach looking mark on your driveway (see pic). I am hoping it will wash away with the next rain. I will never purchase this again.

It works! Give it time
Through a recommendation from a neighbor, I tried out GroundClear last year. I used it on weeds around dead tree stumps and fencing. It took a little time & sometimes a couple of applications with time in between each application. However, it worked! I didn’t even have to reapply this year. Nothing is growing! So I used it again on other weeds & the weeds are slowly dying. Give it time to work. I only have tried the concentrate so I’m unsure about spraying straight from the container.

An awesome recommendation and pleasant surprise
I have to admit that the purchase price was a little bit of a deterrent. However, in just one use, it has been a game changer for my L-shaped backyard. I have a very long walkway that often get a good amount of weeds. I did just ONE treatment we’ve had several rains, and no weeds! Saving so much money in the long run. Dept manager knows his stuff!

spent $40 on this product to get the grass and weeds out of a rock bed by my house. 3 applications later the grass and weeds are getting taller and thicker. Don't waste your money.

Very little results
Used the ready to use with sprayer. 3 dry days later notice some yellowing of some weeds. Seemed to act as fertilizer on the others. Sprayer piddled out about 12” from dribbler. Waste of time and money.

Disappointing performance. Expensive.
I was surprised to find no instructions on the label on how to dilute it and then surprised when I read on their website how much was needed for a gallon of weed killing mixture. Days later I expected results of dead weeds but dousing then like I did apparently want enough to do the job. See for yourself with the photos. My advice: buy something else or be prepared to use a lot of product to do the job and be prepared to do it twice. …or just buy a different product.

Great Vegetation Killer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ortho Ground Clear works alot faster than other vegetation killers. After spraying, The next day the weeds were wilting and turning yellowish brown. More sensitive weeds will die quicker. I use this to kill the weeds in between the cracks of my sidewalks and driveway. Also use to spot spray tough weeds in my lawn and along my fence. I mix 24fl.oz. of product per gallon of water to treat up to 300 sq. ft. I have had success in killing Poison Ivy,Dandelions, Crabgrass,Buttonweed,Goose grass and various types of other weeds. I highly recommend Ortho GroundClear for all of your unwanted vegetation.

Does not work
I mixed this 24 ounces to a gallon and used the entire bottle on a ton of weeds in one day. It was dry that day and for the next few. It did almost nothing. Some show signs they where sprayed others do not and none are actually killed. Very frustrating to have spent all that time and money for no results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t beat this stuff. Sprayed about a week ago and already seeing results. You can see in the picture where I sprayed vs where I didn’t. Do not make the mistake of putting this near anything you want to live! I mixed this and put it in a 1 gal pump sprayer. Easy to clear behind my shop and in the alley.

Effective weed killer

It couldn't have come at a better time because we had just finished landscaping our front patio area and needed big time weed relief. What I like best about this product is that it kills weeds quickly- this is one of my top priorities. No more messy rocks with green poking through. I'm super satisfied that it has a long term effect too. I won't have to continually reapply!

Made some weeds yellow. The ivy laughed at it.
Save your money and avoid. This picture was a week after application.
I sprayed everywhere within the ivy with 2 coats over 24 hours.

Terrible
This stuff is useless. Followed instructions sprayed about half on a 3' x 8' area
and 3 days later nothing... Oh a few weeds and some of the grass have yellow tips,
that's about it... What a waste of my time and money....

Save your money
Mixed according to directions (24oz per gallon) and it did almost nothing. I then took a 2 gal. Sprayer put in 1gal. water and 4/5 gal. product (almost 50/50) and it killed about 75% or less of the grass coming up in my gravel driveway. Save your money.

Useless, Plant Thrive, Not Worth the Money
I used a 32 oz Bottle (stronger than recommended 24 oz) in a Gallon of Water, in my tank sprayer. Sprayed weeds liberally until they were soaked. They turned a little yellow, and thats it after 2 weeks. Not the weeds are back with a vengeance !

Not the results I expected
I had a lot of hope for this product and the huge amount of weeds in my back yard. I live in he Southwest so may back yard is rocks and bark, no grass. I followed the directions explicitly. I watered the weeds very well the day before, as directed. The next day around 1 PM, it was 64 degrees. I mixed as directed and sprayed. It's been almost two weeks and the results are extremely disappointing. None of the weeds have died and very few even look like they were treated. I will try again but increase the concentration of water to product. At this time I cannot recommend this product. See attached photos.
