We also offer Brass version of this product if that is what you wanted. Real Brass Pop-Up Drains will cost much more than $ 13.99 - all metal is not brass. Thanks.

Hello Alfred, Not sure what the real issue is - please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com so we can understand and help you - This product is a code approved pop-up drain and has the exact same specs as most other pop-up drains but comes with a patented design of magnetic stopper that helps eliminate drain clogs. If you contact us we can help with any product install or function issues. We do also offer a brass version of this drain - but it costs around $ 50 - let us know if that is what you want. Of course if your issue is that this is Made in China and you don't like that fact - there is nothing we can do about it - unfortunately, it is our experience that while the US customers would like products made in the USA they want it to occur at the same cost as China and are not willing to pay a dime more. If you would like a US version of this Pop-up drain, you probably will end up paying $ 30-50 for the plastic version instead of the $ 10-15 you paid now. We are a proud US company, owned by US Citizens, based in the US and inventing and designing products in the US and the production is overseas to try and meet the price expectations of the US customers. Hello Customer - the plunger can close down if placed in the opposite direction than shown in instructions - because then there would be no contact between the plunger and the rod - to lift the plunger, you can use a simple suction cup - or contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com and we can get you a suction cup. Hello Customer - The drain flange is the same as a regular pop-up drain - if it is sitting a bit high - it could be that the curvature of your vanity sink is little different - in such case you can use the flange with plumber's putty instead of the included gasket - this will allow the flange to get closer to the sink and you won't face the issue as stated. Hello Customer - sorry to hear this - as you are aware this is a new design and looks like you faced some install issues - ridges are only aesthetic the connections is through the magnet - which is approx. 20 lb force.
