hydrangea came dormant. I planted it in the ground, 6 hours of sun, afternoon shade, zone 8b. It lives and ready to bloom now. very happy with this one.

These did not survive

I ordered these as my wife loved their appearance. Being a certified Colorado Master Gardener, I was excited about the price, even though they were small and in 4.5" containers. But when they arrived, someone had cut them way back so they would fit inside the cardboard shipping box. This seriously impacted the health of the shrubs and they also had some black leaf fungus, that concerns me. I've taken them out and keeping them nourished to see if they survive and grow, but I'm having doubts after a few days, more leaves have fallen. If Home Depot shippers had simply used a bigger box or one that didn't require trimming back of the shrub, I don't think there would be problems with the health of these shrubs. I'm hoping HD's typical "one year warranty" on trees and woody plants will be considered should they fail in the coming weeks, months. I assume HD guarantees it's live shrub/tree stock for up to a year?

My hydrangeas arrived quickly in perfect condition. They were very healthy and had great color.

It was packaged very well & had healthy green leaves upon arrival. I put it in a bigger pot and watered it. Great price and fast shipping. Happy with my overall experience.

When my plant first arrived. I was like omg it’s a dead stick in a pot. Then we read the info packet that came with it. They actually freeze these plants before shipping them out. So we decided to wait and see. We put it in the sun. Kept it watered. About a week after it started to have small leaves. I will share a picture of what it looks like now If I can. We waited to replant it until we knew it was going to survive. Which was a good idea. I’m happy with it. I know it will take some time. But it’s going to be worth it. It’s a happy plant. And will produce happy flowers soon as it’s ready. So have some patience with it. And it will be good to you.

All three of mine died. They did not even survive 6 months after purchase.

They looked pitiful and have both already died.

Plants arrived wilted and lost all leaves. I hope they will come back out.

came well packaged and has done well. Still full of leaves and healthy.

Plant came almost dead. After 4 weeks of caring it is showing little life. Lets hope it will survive. I will give it 4 more weeks, if it is still so poorly looking I will return it.

Plant came quickly it's starting to grow some leaves. Can't wait to see it in action next summer.

I think they were pretty good considering FedEx lost the shipment for several days. I've only just planted them so we will see how they look next year!

It was very small plant with few leaves only. Not sure even if it will survive. Will not bloom at all this year. Pictures shown are not true representative.

The plant was pitiful looking. Sticks. Terrible terrible terrible.
