Hi Judy - Scentara® Double Blue Lilac (Syringa) is a deciduous shrub that will go into dormancy during winter. It has excellent disease resistance, resists deer, and has the most incredible fragrance. Grows 6-8 feet tall and wide at maturity in zones 2-8. I was able to plant these beauties within 24 hours...
I was able to plant these beauties within 24 hours of receiving them. And they have taken root and are thriving in their new home. They have yet to flower, but I'm sure they will be lovely.

Sizable lilac plant with flower buds
The Scentara Double Blue Lilac arrived promptly, that plant was good size and healthy, and even had a number of bud clusters. Some of the buds opened while I had it indoors, the color was a little lighter than the photo, and they didn't have any scent, but I'm hoping that will change when the plant becomes acclimated to its new home. So far, I'm pleased with this lilac.

Best lilac online. The gardenia and night blooming jasmine along with the mulberry bush from spring hill nursery are the best and healthiest plants I have ordered for the last few years. Keep up the great work and thanks for the healthy beautiful plants!

Im sad home depot website said upto zone 9, however...
Im sad home depot website said upto zone 9, however it's upto zone 8. Still gave it a 5 star because i would have pushed the zoning anyway if i didn't find a zone 9 lilac.... which i did, after continued searching! On the other hand, It arrived very well packaged. Had tiny buds on them and upon unpacking her I watered her and acclimated her to her location. By the next day the leaves had already pushed out the buds. A month later she's beautiful and we've had several wind storms already! I'll update with pictures as they're in another phone.
