Hello. This is a crabgrass preventer product. Applying any fertilizer or herbicide to grass seed will kill the grass seed or seedlings.

Have not seen any crabgrass yet, got a good rating because I found a couple of dandelions a couple of weeks after application. Definitely greens and thickens the lawn!

Super happy with this weed and feed from Pennington. My lawn greens up fast and I haven't seen any crabgrass so far this season and dandelions are a thing of the past. It's mid-May and as far as I'm concerned I will continue to use the weed and feed throughout the season. Most of the problematic weeds (crabgrass included) seem to pop up in mid to late summer anyway. Keep your lawn watered after applying and you will definitely see the results. I recommend this product if you want to maintain a nice green lawn.

I live in a patio home, but have a decent...
I live in a patio home, but have a decent amount of grass front and back. I was the first home in our community to have a lush green, weedless lawn, AND still is the greenest. Loved the results.
