Easy to use flat spline. Takes a bit to get used to on how to get the spline in the track, but once you figure it out it is pretty easy. Good, strong quality material.

Did the job as it should. I had to position it on the edge for it to fit inside the slot. Once I figured it out it was a breeze.

The company who installed my patio originally used this style of screen retainer. Needed to re screen some sections and needed more screen retainer,

This worked fine for replacing screens that had flat spline to start with, basically those where the screen "frame" is the structure frame, not just lightweight removable extrusions. The type is not the easiest to install but it's not insurmountable, better quality tools and experience both help a lot, it gets much easier after the first couple and you get the "feel". Don't forget to keep the rounded side toward the tool, things go bad quickly if you do. While the dimensions were the same as the spline it replaced, this was thinner at the edges, but after working with it I'm sure it will hold well even in a high wind- there are limits to anything, in a hurricane it's not going to matter. I think it's a good idea to start out with plenty of extra, and all in all this was a good value at a good price and I was pleased by the final result, but it's not a task to undertake lightly if you've never done it, it's much different than using the thin round spline on small windows.

Easy to install and better than any other spline. I have used many splines. Flat spline keeps the screen in place without problems. Recommend it 100 %.

Easy to install

It works. It’s what on uses when replacing screens on the pool enclosure. No real rave or slam - all splines eventually dry out and harden in the South Florida environment, so this one is as good as any. When new, it works great.
